Nice friendly greeting on arrival. Starters were nice. Main courses were very average. Not asked during meal if we’d like more drinks when glasses were empty. Had to ask on 2 occasions for the bill as the first waitress forgot, then waited a further 10-15 minutes for someone to bring the card machine so we could pay the bill. I also felt it was very expensive for the standard of food/service. No thank you or goodbye from staff as we left. Sadly I would not recommend or return here.

Service poor this time ordered drinks then coffee but they forgot allso food was not very hot are we traveled for an hour to get there we were a little disappointed

Really nice food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Was very busy when we arrived, with no spaces in the car park, but there was plenty of parking close by and on the roadside, as well.

Fab food at fab prices with great vegetarian options. Staff were friendly and attentive and made sure we enjoyed our meal. We will be back!

Very friendly atmosphere from other guests and staff who were very quick to see you needed another beer- excellent meal, I had the pork meal - good range of beers, good value.

Decent varied menu - well presented good pub grub. Reasonable prices and nice staff/surroundings. Suggest booking in advance as very popular but overall a very good venue.

Really impressive customer service especially one gentleman who was very attentive. The menu had a wide range of options , Meal was well presented, good size portion and delicious.

had an absolutely amazing experience at the mill in stokesley! the staff were so polite and helpful nothing seemed like a bother to them. the food... oh my word the food what can I say other than wow!! we each had 3 courses and there was no complaints from any of our party of 7! they brought all food together so no one was left waiting. the food tasted amazing and was cooked to perfection I honestly have nothing bad to say at all! we will definitely be back in the near future!! Thank you for a fantastic experience your hard work certainly pays off!!

Excellent food and great atmosphere again. New Years Eve didn’t detract the service and attention to go along with the food. Looking forward to returning soon. Highly revommended.

Greedy, greedy owners! i regularly have Sunday lunch here and a main costs just under £10. Today however it is £12.75. Almost £3 more per main course, and why is this? Because it's Christmas! But it's not Christmas for another two days. The staff aren't getting paid anymore money and it's not even the holidays yet, so why are you milking your customers in this way? I could understand if this was over the holidays but it's not. It's just pure GREED and ripping off loyal regular customers. The only difference to my main from the norm was that it was served with brussel sprouts and rock hard ones at that. No wonder the table for six next to mine was empty. Well I hope you make the most of the extra ten or twelve quid you made from my family because we won't be coming back. Greedy, greedy, greedy!

We arrived slightly behind time, were seated in a good place for the addition of a small person. Food was of good quality and service was good too.

Delicious food, husband loves the burgers as they are, as he says “proper beef”. Staff are attentive without being always at the table. Always a pleasure to eat here.

Very good had 6 years old with us he had burger from kids range enormous!!! I’d have struggled with the size of it he only ate half and was full !

6 diners ordered 6 different meals and all were very satisfied. Service was prompt and efficient. Staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. This was not our first visit and certainly will not be our last!
