The Ilkley Cow

This must of been my sixth visit to the Moody Cow in Ilkley. Excellent food and fantastic customer service as always. Thank you very much.

Fantastic food, very helpful and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. It made our meal out very enjoyable, highly recommend. 5 star eatery with fab decor!

Chocolate brownie was a bit burnt but fantastic customer service. Rest of the meal was very good and we will be going back in the future.

Sunday lunch was generally excellent. Service was good and orders taken promptly and meals served quickly. Starters were all fresh and very good. Childs Sunday Roast would have satisfied most adults. Main meals were all served together along with a good selection of vegetables. Yorkshire puddings were a little dry and Onion Rings overcooked; otherwise a very pleasant meal at a reasonable price.

Great food, great service what more can I say. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back again. The nachos were a meal in themselves!

Good atmosphere. Great food with real meat. Wonderful attentive staff. recommend for a night out.

Had the Chateaubriand, beautifully tender. Service slow but everyone polite and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere, comfortable seating. My parents enjoyed the roast, the meat had a nice flavour, although the vegetables were undercooked including the roast parsnips and potatoes.

Great food, lovely place, maybe a little bit slow with service , but it was fine, we loved it, planning on coming again with friends

Great service, friendly staff, lovely food. We were slightly held up but phoned ahead and this was no problem, and we weren't made to feel rushed. Good choice of food on menu.

It was our first time at the Moody Cow and it is clear why it is highly rated. The food was really good and the restaurant is comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning.

Very friendly attentive service with hot and well cooked and presented food. Even the broccoli remained hot for some time. Premises in a good clean serviceable order. Well done to everyone who works there.

As always it was a lovely meal..good portions sizes and really tasty..the atmosphere is always buzzing on a weekend evening too and the waiting staff are very polite

Amazing food and great service. I was just surprised how empty the restaurant soon was by about 9pm. Great night though and would definitely recommend 🙂

Favourite restaurant in Ilkley. Best ribs I've ever had. Pleasant evening. Very friendly staff and reasonably priced. We definitely plan to come again. Highly recommend to others

Excellent staff and our food was beautiful. My wife was able to breastfeed in there too without any issues which was a god send. Baby changing facilities were fine too

Enjoyed our meal but the steak had been over-seasoned with too much salt. It spoilt it slightly for us. Just depends how you like it I suppose. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Overall good food with generous portions. Starter was a little dry. childs steak delicious. Service adequate , though had to wait to get bill .

The starters and desserts were lovely. I had pork for main course which perhaps was a little over cooked. I have had steak here before which was cooked perfectly so in future I would stick to this. The service was slow and unfortunately this seems to be the case regularly.

The food was excellent especially the sharing steak, even if a little pricey. However the service slightly slow but not enough to stop us going back.

Very good, staff as helpful as always. Food straightforward and well presented.We requested a wine not on the main wine list and the manager went to the trouble of searching a bottle out for us.

First time at the restaurant after hearing great things from friends. My steak was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Not as good as it usually is, burgers were dry and overdone, restaurant was like being sat in a fridge, maybe just a one off?

Great starters, lovely steaks and a great restaurant. The deserts were great too. We go to the moody cow at least three times a year for the steaks!

The food at the moody cow was lovely as always. The waitress spent time talking to us and even suggesting what was good to eat and drInk. Fantastic evening

Steak nights are a favourite of ours, great that you can go Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday for the offer, for 2 steaks and a bottle of wine. £29 is a bargain

First time we have done the lunchtime offer, the food was good, although we did book off the main menu for starters, my husband ordered the burger from the lunchtime special board, I think it needs to be clearer that there is an extra charge for this

The steak here is to die for, we go most weeks for the £29 steak offer with bottle of wine, the service is great too.

Great service, attentive but not pushy and great food. Lots of choice on the menu. Even did 'doggy bags' as the portions were so big.

The starters were excellent, the rump steak was a little disappointing but the Manager was very helpful and dealt with the situation in a most professional manner
