First visit and pleased with excellent service, lovely food and attractive venue. Would recommend this Restaurant to my friends and will most certainly come again.
Cons The Shmoo was bland and powdery. It was quite cool in there. If there was heating on, it was hard to tell. Pros Reserved a table, so had the best seat in the house (the window seat). The porridge was delicious, and so was the English breakfast. The staff were very good.
We arrived early however we were attended to straight away and directed to our reserved table, which I thought was good organisation. We had lovely food and really enjoyed the view of the River Dee from where we were seated, many thanks!
Beautiful location on the river with mouth watering menu with a large selection of sandwiches - highly recommend the chicken BLT. Friendly staff who are attentive. Every time we visit chester we always pop in here.
Awful... Eggs Benedict - fatty funny coloured ham and snotty/raw egg on top!! Both me and my husband returned our food and left! Really put us Off!! Would not return!
Food very good compliments to the chef, attentive servers and prompt delivery of food. Would recommend the Moorings to all our friends, and family, can’t wait to go again!!
