Really delighted with the food and the service, wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Mustard Seed!

Loved this restaurant - such great food, ambiance, and service

It was my first visit to The Mustard Seed. I'd walked in before but been unsuccessful so this time I booked. What a wonderful menu. We tried the spicy pakira and mackerel pate for starters. Then the steak and the pork lion for mains. All were wonderful and great value. I can't wait to return.

Restaurant was great but we were sat in an alcove that felt very apart from the restaurant. Asked to sit by the fireplace and it was a no. Had these reservations made months in advance and came from Texas. Make sure you get a table by the fireplace or at least upstairs. Would come again.

Incredibly crowded. Would prefer to come back at less busy time.

Wonderful atmosphere, exceptional meal, good service, and worth the price.

Upon completing our dinner service in a loud/noisy dining room (minimal sound insulation and everything echoed) the server took our dishes and then stopped checking in on us. This was unexpected given that Mustard Seed was so highly rated for food and service levels. This would have been fine but when we were ready for our check, but between the 3-4 wait staff running around, none made eye contact with us for us to get their attention. I even raised my hand politely and was not able to get their attention. Ultimately had to stand up in their path to ask for the check after 15minutes of trying to get someone's attention.

We booked with friends and requested a window table. Walked in a little late and were shown straight to the perfect table. Food great and we had a very relaxed evening. Only qualification is that a member of staff was off work and, being short handed, service was a little slow.

Starters were enjoyable but main courses were not. Well below our expectations of this restaurant which usually has elegant tasty main courses.

Lovely restaurant by the river! Friendly and thoughtful servers. The pan fried hake was just okay, not excellent. Everything else we had was great! Loved the Haggis, the lamb and the sticky toffee pudding.

Beautiful riverside setting. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. We will certainly go back and highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

The Mustard Seed has amazing and accommodating staff and made our honeymoon visit very special. The food selection was superb and the location was amazing. Will return!

We had dinner reservations here for our night in Inverness and were not disappointed. The venison was wonderful, atmosphere warm and friendly, and the staff attentive and friendly also. Highly recommend!

Had to wait a while for our booked table but the staff gave us free drinks to compensate and were very apologetic

As always the food was delicious we couldn’t fault it, the restaurant was busy so we felt we were slightly rushed and had to ask a couple of times for water and bread as we were missed out but the meal was great

We had a fabulous visit and would definitely return. The staff where friendly and professional and also very flexible with my dietary restrictions which helps me to be able to eat out. The food was amazing - thank you :-)

The Mustard Seed has been one of my favourites for many years and is always my choice for my birthday.

Cozy restaurant with a beautiful decoration, warm light and jazz ambience music, everything made the experience really nice. Helpful and attentive staff. Food was quite good, we tasted prawn cocktail, salmon, duck and cheesecake, well quality-price related. If we have another opportunity to visit Inverness we will come back for sure.

The hostess/mgr was amazing-ccommodating and very helpful. The staff was great/friendly. Food was wonderful. We had a second floor table at the window and the view was perfect.

It was excellent! The food was pretty tasty, the service was very good! I had a scottish salmon with mashed potatoes that I loved! The place is very decorated and cozy! The price is fair! I highly recommended a visit!

I have eaten at the Mustard Seed many times and it is yet to dissapoint,the staff are exeptional making your feel welcome, valued and greeting everyone with a smile. The lunch menu is a perfect balance of cost, portion size and choice, hard to achieve, the chefs take pride in the presentation of the food, I look forward to many more great meals there.
