Food was delicious and staff were great what more can you ask for

This restaurant was recommended to us by our niece who had recently travelled to Inverness. We had a lovely dinner.

We had a wonderful meal. The ambiance is perfect and the staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. We wish we lived in Inverness so we could enjoy this superlative dining experience often.

Although the restaurant was extremely busy, the staff were very attentive. The hostess (can’t remember her name) went ABOVE and beyond to make us feel comfortable as they were running 15 mins behind seating us. She offered a cocktail on the house and even allowed us to move tables once seated. The food was outstanding and brought out in a timely fashion. Nothing but good things to say about this establishment. I wish this caliber of customer service was more common in my country.

We ate at The Mustard Seed restaurant for the first time today and our experience was great. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. My wife had the steak, while I had the venison and both dishes were delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I reserved a table based on recommendations and I could not agree more. The food and service was top notch with great views of the river. We will eat here again if ever back in Inverness and I highly recommend.

Lovely place with a nice menu. Staff tried hard but seemed overstretched - our waiter gave great recommendations for the food and activities later in the area. Unfortunately, other staff needed reminding for menus, water, etc.

in Inverness, last year, we at at the Mustard Seed and it was great....so great that this year, visiting with friends, we had to have them experience the great food with us. Yes, the noise level made it difficult to hold conversation, but the excellent food and service overcame that. So glad their level of excellence hasn't dropped. We will return again, some day. 2 travellers from BC (Western Canada)

We had a really nice anniversary dinner here during our trip to Inverness. We did find a dirty fork under our table upon arrival, which staff quickly attended to once we pointed it out, but otherwise the service, atmosphere, and meal were all really enjoyable. They were also really sweet in offering a complimentary serving of prosecco, and some ice cream with a fireracker candle, to help us with our celebration. Would definitely come back next time we're lucky enough to return to Scotland!

Great ambiance right in the heart of Inverness, along the River. Service and food were both first-rate and prices were surprisingly reasonable. Would definitely eat there again. Loved it.
