Overall my group found the food quality and taste to be poor, and the service spotty.

One always has a nice meal at The Mustard Seed. The staff is very nice and attentive. i

The food was very good. The table we had at the right of the front door was a bit drafty (wind from the front door). Our waitress was in a big hurry. She raced around which was a bit unsettling. The rest of the staff was great.

We picked this restaurant to get dinner whilst hanging around in Inverness between our trains, as we were on a long journey. We had looked on the website and were attracted by the economical Early Evening menu and other menu choices, and because it seemed to be a nice independent local business. On arrival, we were disappointed by the lack of vegetarian options which were actually available. In the end, we did have a decent meal, in a nice atmosphere, and were not hungry on our subsequent journey.

Fantastic food and really friendly staff we had a superb meal and a great experience. Highly recommended

We went for lunch because it was my friend’s birthday. I let them know when I booked…they played the birthday song for others and made a fuss…. For us we were stuck in a corner and the waitress tried to rush us through our lunch. Won’t go back - clearly they have enough business

My son has visited the restaurant in the past and recommended a booking for myself and my partner. It was a most enjoyable experience and everything was of the highest standard.

Lovely food and very good service - as ever! First time we have been seated downstairs - it is perhaps less noisy upstairs but it was a busy time! Cannot fault the restaurant and staff!

We've been a number of times to this popular restaurant. Busy, with friendly, efficient staff. Nice variety of food on the set menu, tasty and good value. Fish perfectly cooked.

The food was acceptable but the service wasn’t good at all. Since we arrived we felt that they were in a hurry for us to eat and leave the restaurant.

Fabulous meal and service! We had a reservation for 2 and met a new friend on our tour that morning. We had booked months ahead and knew a last minute request to add a 3rd party might not be feasible but the host was kind to accommodate us with a slight wait for a table to open up. Wonderful experience!

Another lovely meal. We were going to the Theatre so had the Early Evening Menu, couldn't fault anything. Friendly staff and food came with just the right smout of time in-between courses.

As always, a thoroughly enjoyable visit to the Mustard Seed where I always feel most welcome. My friend and I enjoyed a delicious lunch … my main course was ‘tweaked’ slightly for me which I appreciated. The staff are very friendly and professional and don’t rush you out. I look forward to my next visit!

Excellent lunch! Great food - the service is amazing. Sophia and her team were lovely - great fun and very efficient. Good perfect with a good value lunch menu. A buzzy atmosphere adds to the enjoyment. Thoroughly recommend! PS we went with our baby granddaughter - high chairs and the staff made her feel very welcomed.
