Food was great, service was fine to start then all staff disappeared? Must have went on their break. Still good though.

Overall excellent! Most of the food was incredible. My broccoli side to my duck was nothing super special but everything else was!! Great environment and wait staff!

We have been on a number of occasions and always have a great meal at the Mustard Seed. Food standard is great and use of local produce welcome.

The service was excellent and the food amazing. When we told the waitress we were celebrating our sons 21st birthday she arrived at our table with a fountain candle in a small tub of ice cream just before our desserts arrived. This was a wonderful surprise. Thank you

This was our second time to the Mustard Seed. As with the first time, we were not disappointed. The location and atmosphere are and were phenomenal. The wait-staff were superb as was the food. The restaurant is very reasonably priced. Overall, Should we return to Inverness, Scotland, The Mustard Seed will definitely be a must visit location. Moran Taing !!! Slainte !!!

I had an early evening booking. Excellent meal, wine, service, atmosphere and welcome. My only negative was the drought caused by people coming to try to book. If it is likely to be a cold evening ask for a table away from the door …. I gather upstairs is ideal. I was eating alone and felt absolutely welcomed and comfortable.

Delicious food, prompt service, friendly staff. Have dined there may times and look forward to my next visit.

Dinner and dessert were excellent and well priced. My only complaint is all the emails from Aqua do said we had a 8:30 pm reservation . At 5 pm I received an email stating at 7:30 pm- and that’s what the restaurant had. Would have missed it had I not checked email at 7 pm

We were quite excited to try the Mustard Seed, but sadly, were disappointed. My friends dish (she had the gnocchi) was cold and awful (not prepared as described), and mine was so salty I could not eat it. They were very busy, so perhaps it was an off night, but we were not impressed with the food. The staff, on the other hand, was wonderful. We let them know about our food and they did everything they could to make it right. That was impressive! Based on how they handled our bad meals, I’d definitely be willing to try them again.

This was the most amazing food!!! They were super busy, a testament to how great their food is! All of the staff were in excellent moods and very friendly! :) I will be coming back to The Mustard Seed on my next trip to Scotland! :)

Was a bit disappointing - quite a long wait for the food. I had ordered a side of fries and they didn't arrive. The waiter was called and put in the order however by the time they arrived I had eaten most of my food. I thought they shouldn't have been charged out! The polenta cake was tasteless and an unnecessary addition to a fish dish.

One of the best meals we had during our two weeks in Scotland. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and amazing food. They were even so nice to let us head back to our table for a post-dinner dram while we waited for our taxi (unexpected rain!).
