Reservations essential on this night as some technical difficulties in the kitchen resulted in turning away some 51 people at the door during our One hour at dinner. Monkfish and prawns was superb. Unfortunately my husband's risotto was cold, but Very quickly resolved with a replacement dish more than satisfactory. Very pleasant staff though they were operating under unusual circumstances.

Lovely meal in relaxed surroundings. Good choice on lunch menu.

Restaurant was a bit noisier than I expected and although our food was good it wasn't quite as impressive as the reviews suggested.

Party of 4 for 17.00 booked table; had to wait for a few minutes for table to be ready but not a problem overall. Food and drink ordered and delivered reaonably quickly. Food reasonably priced and of good quality. Overall, a good experience, and as such , an appropriate tip given. Would definitely recommend, and will return.

Food was excellent! A second glass of wine was requested which arrived after my dinner was finished, so I sent it back. Other than that, the service was very good.

Visiting from Canada. Had made reservations more than month ago. We were placed at table just inside stairway and washrooms and next to cash area (at one point there were 6people standing next to us waiting to pay). I sent risotto back as it was crunchy and was told that the kitchen likes to serve it al dente. They did replace it with my choice - gnocchi. Tomato sauce with no hint of other flavours. My husbands pasta was bland 3 cheese penne. Overall very disappointing. Over-hyped and full of themselves for their success. Would not recommend

The food and service were great; I was disappointed that we were seated right next to the serving station upstairs. How many months in advance does a reservation have to be to merit a better table?

Had a reservation so no wait time. Staff was very pleasant but a crush of customers made their task challenging

Lunch was okay, but not up to previous visits. Portion sizes definitely smaller now, distinct lack of vegetables, just carrots with mjne ( you used to get seperate vegetable platter) and not much sauce. Staff lovely and friendly.

I appreciate the swapping of baked vegetables for the creamy vegetables that were listed. The food was delicious. The soup was amazing.

Salmon, Beef were great. Service was prompt and friendly. The recommended venison was tough and the owner promptly brought a replacement entree. Must have advance reservations as there were walk-in hoards turned away.

The noise level was quite high. Would be difficult for people with hearing problems. The service was a bit abrupt. All the staff were extremely busy.

Great service, delicious food, lovely ambience. A really lovely evening, our waitress even brought a candle to the table when she realised it was my husband’s birthday. Highly recommended but book early to avoid disappointment

Awesome food and service. We had a great meal and it was reasonably priced for the quality and presentation of the plates.

Found myself disappointed with my fish main! 3 prawns and 3 chunks of monk fish, monk fish still had a bit of membrane left on, which made it chewy,with a load of cream with a bit of garlic thrown in. And a small portion of rice. Presentation did not make the plate look that appetising at all. The bacon did not look cooked enough, so chose to pull it all out. More bacon than fish!!! Did not have a starter or the sweet course, so left hungry! And the mushroom sauce with my husbands steak tasted of mushroom condensed soup, which I myself have used on occasion. No complaints about the service at all.

Dessert was amazing. Great service. High noise level. Unique setting.

Just had a lovely meal here today with my son great food and quick friendly service.
