Had a reservation so no wait time. Staff was very pleasant but a crush of customers made their task challenging

Lunch was okay, but not up to previous visits. Portion sizes definitely smaller now, distinct lack of vegetables, just carrots with mjne ( you used to get seperate vegetable platter) and not much sauce. Staff lovely and friendly.

I appreciate the swapping of baked vegetables for the creamy vegetables that were listed. The food was delicious. The soup was amazing.

Salmon, Beef were great. Service was prompt and friendly. The recommended venison was tough and the owner promptly brought a replacement entree. Must have advance reservations as there were walk-in hoards turned away.

The noise level was quite high. Would be difficult for people with hearing problems. The service was a bit abrupt. All the staff were extremely busy.

Awesome food and service. We had a great meal and it was reasonably priced for the quality and presentation of the plates.

Found myself disappointed with my fish main! 3 prawns and 3 chunks of monk fish, monk fish still had a bit of membrane left on, which made it chewy,with a load of cream with a bit of garlic thrown in. And a small portion of rice. Presentation did not make the plate look that appetising at all. The bacon did not look cooked enough, so chose to pull it all out. More bacon than fish!!! Did not have a starter or the sweet course, so left hungry! And the mushroom sauce with my husbands steak tasted of mushroom condensed soup, which I myself have used on occasion. No complaints about the service at all.

Dessert was amazing. Great service. High noise level. Unique setting.

Very disappointed in the food today. Soup was very watery. Chicken was tough. The service was very good. The staff were lovely and helpful. Been a while since I was there but Mustard Seed’s food was always tasty and well cooked. Today was just tasteless.

The food was fantastic -- overall traditional, but with little flairs like the caprese-salad-on-puff-pastry. In general everything was well made and carefully thought through. The worst I can say is that they were out of the panna cotta when we were there :-)

The restaurant was very crowded, loud and warm inside. The staff was professional and friendly. The brie starter salad was excellent as was the sea bass. The chicken and salmon entrees seemed dry. The accompanying vegetables to all four of our entrees were undercooked and not hot.

We had an early dinner booking due to booking at the last minute. The food and service were exceptional. Would definitely recommend.

Today Mustard Seed you fell well short of a grading, this originates back to the chef not checking the quality of food being served. Booked in for a special lunch have travelled over from Skye. The chicken main course was inedible, impossible to cut and wholly indigestible resulting in us having to part leave our main Course. The waiter could only apologise. I suspect others having the same would have encountered the same quality of food. Unfortunately Mustard Seed due the quality of food today your restaurant is not an eatery we could recommend to others.

The staff was very friendly, but the food took quite a while to receive. We did have to wait about 10-15 minutes for our table with a reservation. Not a huge deal.

We visited for lunch and chose the steak option. On the upside the hot smoked salmon caesar salad was great as was the cinnamon apple crumble. Now to the mains; one was very good whilst the other was pretty awful. The steak knife didn't even cut through around half of the stake which was very disappointing. We were seriously overcharged (over £30 which we noticed having paid the bill and adding on the percentage tip, The overcharge was rectified but the tip proportion was not refunded nor was that offered. A disappointing visit this time. Previous visits have been good.
