We returned having had a wonderful meal there the last time. The 28 day matured rib eye I had was pale and tasteless . In fact I honestly thought there had been a mistake and I was served pork. I mentioned it to the waiter who more or less brushed me off. The starters were very good as was the lemon sole my wife had. I felt very disappointed.

Staff always go the extra mile. Courteous and willing. Service always good, food excellent, always good choices and value for money.

Food was lovely, although one dish got sent back as mash cold. Staff rectified very quickly.

We were a party of 3, two meals were very good, unfortunately the third was not so great. The pork was incredibly tough and difficult to eat.

The staff were amazing considering they were clearly very busy and a bit rushed off their feet, but their service was outstanding regardless. 10/10

Our second visit to this busy restaurant We shared the platter to begin with The pate was lovely but the chicken tenders were dry as were the roll mops We had the cod from the specials which was ok but the rice was tasteless The other main was the stuffed chicken breast which was flavoursome but dry However the accompanying veg were nicely cooked I’d suggest heating the plates as the food went cold fast Our cocktails were delicious and the service was charming

Amazing vibrant place , excellent service , great food. But remember to book your table, place is famous in the city so it gets full easily .

Attentive staff, great food, outside on balcony in great weather.

Salad and mussels starters were delicious. The duck main was wonderful. The beef rib fillet with green peppercorn sauce was very nice but everything on the plate was a little too salty. The staff were attentive and at times entertaining. The eclectic decor was delightful. We had a very enjoyable evening.

Good meal, table a bit tight. Staff friendly and attentive.

Food was great. I’m not sure if staffing was low? We didn’t get our drinks until after our food was served. We had to ask for water several times before getting it (we ordered water and a cocktail each). We were understanding that there were staffing problems probably, but still not the best service to get your drink after you’ve finished dinner.

We booked online not knowing what kind of food to expect. Everything from our drinks to our starters and main course were exceptional. Atmosphere was delightful. Overall a 10 out of 10.

Reservation had been canceled. I emailed and it was put back on. Glitch? Servers work as a team. Everyone helps so you don’ t have a relationship with just one server but very efficient.

Terrific food, service and atmosphere. Staff were so accommodating and friendly, and I found plenty to eat as a pescatarian.

The wine was old and we had to replace it with another, the wrong dishes were presented (we swapped them) and there was a tour group next to us that was too loud. Food was good and the server who subbed for the waiter was good so we rated it okay.

We went for a celebration dinner our friends from Edinburgh were up to stay. From the moment we arrived the service and friendliness if every was great. I had organised prosecco for arrival and it was there in an ice bucket waiting for us. Food as always delicious and varied choice. Had a fantastic lunch, sat out on the balcony as the weather was glorious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and we think we have found our new favourite restaurant to eat!! Thank you to all the team at The Mustard Seed.

We were not impressed with the food. Had 4 different orders and one dessert. The steak was over cooked, 2 dishes were tasteless and one was ok. The dessert was a chocolate, salted caramel tart. It tasted like it had freezer burn. On a positive note the waitstaff and host were pleasant and attentive.

As always lovely food, good service and lovely albeit busy environment. Always go back.

We had a lovely experience, food was delicious and the staff worked very hard to serve us on a busy night. We couldn’t fault this restaurant and would recommend it but make sure you book a table beforehand.

Delightful place for super early evening meal in riverside location

Chicken was unfortunately dry.I was expecting medium to rare venison.It was well done and tough. Cheesecake had a minimal base.

The food was delicious and the prices were fair. Would recommend!

We felt a bit ignored. Had to ask for our drinks three times and they arrived after we had finished our starter. A bit disappointed since we were looking forward to this restaurant. But we cant give more than 3/5 for service and food
