Tasty food, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere. Just one suggestion… please put tiramisu back on the puds menu ;-)

Lovely food but the vegetables did come cold however the waitress dealt with it quickly and we received it again hotter. it was pretty chilled and it took time to be seen but a lovely evening

A great Friday night supper for two in mid January. Great atmosphere as the restaurant was almost full and log fire burning which was lovely. Drinks arrived promptly and server took our meal orders. 2 main meals of pie of the day (steak & ale) with chips and veg which was piping hot, tasty and plentiful. Only managed to share a sticky toffee pud with ice cream which again was very good. Special offer of 50% off main meals meant 2 drinks, 2 mains and a share pud came to just over £40 - excellent value all round. We will definitely be back.

A lovely mid-week meal for 3. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and a lovely open fire which only added to the atmosphere. Waiting staff were attentive and courteous and knowledgeable about the food and drink choices. Festive menu excellent value for 2 and 3 courses. Will highly recommend and definitely visit again in the near future.

We came for lunch on a Friday. Restaurant was relatively quiet as most people were sat outside. Food was absolutely delicious, we all had a beef sandwich with chunky chips. Food cooked to perfection, waiting staff really lovely and accommodating.

Sat in the enclosed garden area, great for dogs and the patio heaters kept us warm, food was very yummy, lasagna was ample portion size. We went for the lunch deal 2 courses. Friendly staff who gave us all we need.

Love this pub. Delicious lunch meal deal options. The mushrooms to start were lovely and lasagne with Salad, the salad dressing was delicious. The service was great too and there was a lovely undercover outside seating area to enjoy whatever the weather
