The Old Fire Station

We were the only ones in there so atmosphere not great, maybe busier at weekends. Food ok, don't think I would go again. Service was good on the plus side, waitress very nice.

The atmosphere here is always lovely and the food is excellent. We received a very warm welcome on a cold day and would definitely return.

We popped in there mid week before a foot game. there were a couple of other people in there and a few at the bar. venue is nice enough. food was freshly prepared and cooked. we really enjoyed the food. The service was great & the lady was welcoming and friendly. good for those wanting to choose a healthier option too.

We went to the Firestation on a Wednesday qusing our tastecard. The food was really lovely and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

despite being the only customers in the restaurant the service was very slow and unfortunately there were errors with the order. That said, the starters and mains were good.

The food was nice. Portions generous and cocktails nice and strong. Everything was reasonably priced. The waitress I think her name was Molly was very friendly and attentive.

Very nice food. Quirky idea for a restaurant was actually an old fire station, fresh rose on table, Good experience, would recommend. Will go back.

This was a groupon gift to my mother for mother's day, she and my father had a meal there and I was thrilled to hear them say it was absolutely excellent so well done The Old Fire Station :-)

Food was excellent but the room was so cold I had to keep my coat on, the staff were friendly but elusive. We were the only customers early on a Saturday evening.

People were really welcoming, bar staff excellent only bad point was the heating inside both downstairs and upstairs were quite cold which meant I had to eat my dinner with my jacket on apart from that everything was very good and enjoyable.

Lovely looking restaurant, good food, quick and unobtrusive service. There were four of us and we all had a good time. Happy to book again.

The food was very good and the service was what you would expect from a good restaurant. We certainly enjoyed ourselves and would visit The Old Fire Station again.

Great food, good atmosphere but could have been more 'Persian' as music was 80's western. Service very good, and very reasonable prices. Great value for money - with real Persian food. Would come again.

Really enjoyed the food and service. The portions sizes were very big but everyone managed to empty their playes. I had the sticky toffee pudding which tasted grand!

we were welcomed as soon as we walked in by the owner Faro, he was charming & selected the music we chose, the food was excellent hummus to die for & the steaks were cooked to perfection, the decor was simple but effective, within such a magnificent old fire station, thank you for a truly enjoyable evening.

Excellent food apart from one meze had a burnt taste to it. Service was a bit slow but overall had a lovely evening. Host was friendly and enthusiastic.

Excellent service throughout. Food was tasty and we throughly enjoyed the sharing platter for our main course, great value at £40 for 4 people. Try it.

Surprised how quite it was for a Friday evening. Really nice food. The waitress was lovely. Think though this place has a problem with what it wants to be. Restaurant upstairs Cuban bar down stairs which had loud music playing which drowned out the background music in the restaurant. This wouldn't put me off going back though!!!!!

Nice place and atmosphere, nice service, good food. Happy with the Lamb (served in different ways) and with the hand made crep with icecream and orange sirup. Satisfied!

Our first time back for 10 years to the Old Fire Station. Fantastic food and cocktails. We had great service and a big thank you to Ogi.

Good food and pleasant staff. It was not too busy the night we were in but food did take a little while to arrive. We decided that everything was probably cooked from scratch. I would go back.

Food delicious, service excellent. But empty and a little cold sadly. However food was so good would go back there again no problems at all.
