Loved the decor and atmosphere, good portions, attentive staff and tasty food (we had Sunday lunch) my meal was perfect, husband said that the beef was a little tough for him but a good experience overall.

Really delicious food. We all enjoyed our Sunday dinners and sweets.

We shared a starter of crispy chicken bites and crispy cauliflower with a Gochujang Yuzu glaze, sesame seeds & micro coriander - amazing flavours. Our mains of roast chicken breast, charred, leeks, wild mushroom truffle velouté, ratte potatoes and a side of tender stem broccoli,with garlic butter was beautifully cooked and presented and tasted as good as it looked. The Californian Chardonnay complimented this lovely chicken dish. We finished with a refreshing affogato Great setting, good ambiance, friendly staff and generous portions of lovely food. The Old Vol has to be one of the best places to eat right now. The only downside was a long wait for a taxi to take us home - a small price to pay for a great lunch.

Great food and atmosphere. Staff couldn't do enough and made our anniversary special!! Would definitely recommend!

The only issue we have is where our table was positioned, it was quite close to another table and also people and staff struggled get passed my husband as it was close to a wall behind him, so he kept having to move his chair for people to get through.

First time, felt like we were on holiday im a 5 star restaurant.. The outside area was super cool .. Food wonderful although a little more choice on lunch set menu would.be nice .

As usual the food from the a la carte menu was exceptional. As one guest cannot eat egg yolk dessert choice was limited, but the staff suggested fruit salad with assorted sorbet .Delicious!

A fantastic venue in a sunny day. The greeting received was exceptional. Sadly our order was lost but was soon rectified and did not affect our overall experience. I went with my child to meet up with a friend. The miniature village made our catch up perfect as I didn’t see my daughter aside for our food!! I would strongly recommend this place for a catch up to keep the children entertained. The food was excellent. I’ll be making a return trip for sure.

Couldn’t fault the food or the service they were exceptional. The only fault was we felt the restaurant was very noisy as there were no soft furnishings to absorb the noise. That said it wouldn’t put me off going back.

We love the place. We have been a few times recently as the Sunday roast is outstanding. This was our first evening. The food is exceptional. The team are wonderful, polite, friendly and fun. Overall a great night.

Lovely Night Amazing Food Fabulous Atmosphere x Such a cool Vibe!

The food was lovely, and the service in general was attentive. The only reason for the slightly reduced score is that we had read your online menu. This was different to the menu given to us, both in price and some of the items (specifically on desserts).
