I hadn’t been to the pink turban for a few years and thought I’d heard that it had been refurbished. But was very disappointed when I arrived, it was very unclean. The carpet was virtually worn away to nothing and was sticking to my feet. If the owner thinks that’s acceptable then what else do they see as acceptable! Food was ok, mushroom pakora was dried up as if it had been reheated. Sunday lunch only started at 2pm and we were booked for 2:30 so I wonder if it was from the previous day. Also chicken tikka- chicken was very soft/ funny texture. I suppose I get what u pay for but you expect good standards of hygiene no matter what you pay. I won’t be back, very disappointed.

Ordered a fillet steak and waited 45 mins. As any meat lover knows fillet is the most tender and lean steak there is. When it came it was burnt black and couldn't get knife through. Then waited another 40mind for new one. Ended up cancelling. Management was nice about it and asked me to take the buffet and didn't charge. Very frustrating evening!!

Food was just ok, the restaurant felt like a canteen and the staff looked like they'd rather be anywhere else. So did we by the end of it.

Food is great can sometimes wait too long if you want more drinks , had to ask three times for jug of water to eventually be brought two glasses of water . A few people around me had same problem .

Great food, loads to choose from the buffet, from starters mains and desserts, 6 of us there and everyone including the two children loved every bite. All the staff were exceptionally pleasent, but most importantly the bill for all of us was extremely family friendly.

Big change since the last time we were there. I believe It has new owners, has been redecorated and a previous chef has returned. It is looking fresh and pleasant, although the music was a trifle loud. There were 8 of us and it was difficult to hear everyone. However, when we asked for it to be turned down, it was done immediately. We were given a free taster of chili chicken. I do not like chili usually but this was sweet and went down a treat. Food was excellent and loads of choice with dishes being topped up frequently. I loved the starters and stuffed myself. I even found something other than korma to eat. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name but it was lovely. A choccy with our coffees was a night touch. Staff were great and although we didn't realise they were waiting to close, there was no hassle to leave. The price for 8 of us with a fair amount of wine partaken as well as soft drinks was £135.80 which we considered very good value for money We will be back for another great evening

Great food, by far the best buffet around. Everything is made fresh and as a nice touch a new dish was presented a la carte on the table to taste. The service is always very good, regular drinks served and used dishes cleared straight away. Overall a great experience for the price.

first time trying this restruant and it was a good find, not in the main town of wishes but worth the trip out. I only had a main course of curry and nan but the starters coming out of the Kitchen looked good so will try the next time. Would recommend trying here
