Wonderful evening. Great service, good selection of food on the menu, as well as top quality beers. It’s got everything you want from a country pub.

This is a small neighbourhood pub offering great food! Online booking system worked a treat, even with a late booking on Valentines Night. Highly recommended!

Perfect service & food. Been many times for a special occasion lunch & will keep going. Menu range is great as more options for lighter/ smaller meals, if preferred.

Food was good. Felt rather cold in the pub generally and it was very cold every time the door opened. Will go back but will try and find a different table.

The atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The Sunday Roast was excellent the only down side being my wife is Gluten Free so apart from the Ice Cream did not have a choice of Dessert. However The Plough is not alone it is general for the majority of establishments not to offer Gluten Free Choices, Would definitely go again.

Beautiful meal at the Plough. Food absolutely delicious and service impeccable. Vegetarian wellington with spinach and Brie accompanied by roasted beetroot. Triple cooked chips to die for and a hearty fish pie with greens. First class food with a huge variety of choice on the menu.

I cannot sensibly rate The Plough on a scale from 1 to 6 without being told whether 1, or 6, represents the top mark. But I can say that we enjoyed the food and the service.

It is really good to have a local pub that we can recommend as this area has been poorly served for decent venues. We enjoyed a Sunday roast last week and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch - longmay it continue.

Very nice food, presentation was excellent and the service was good The only downside the pub was cold and not many tables taken, so not a lot of atmosphere which is a shame

A very nice country pub, cosy and very pleasant. Food was amazing, well presented and very tasty, with a good selection in the menu + specials - a fantastic place to eat! I was driving that evening so had but one beer, it was fresh and excellent. Friendly staff and the pub is dog-friendly too!

Food was OK, but wouldn't go back to try anything else on the menu. It was very cold in the restaurant area, so found it hard to relax. Not much in the way of atmosphere. Staff are very efficient. Nice to have Ruby the dog wandering around, she was delightful.

We’ve been going there for 30 years so we have high expectations. Under new management now. Great staff, food was tasty but lukewarm. Veg was almost cold. Just need to up their game a bit and it will be back to being really good.

This is the first visit since the new management and it was a disappointment. The menu looked pretty much the same but with more meat dishes. My sausages were nowhere near as tasty as they used to be and a friend's beef burger was reported as not being hot enough. The fish that my wife had was not a good as previous versions. However the service was friendly and efficient and the prices were less than before.

Lovely traditional friendly pub that serves good food in a small dining area. The Provence rose and steak were both excellent. We’ll be back again.

Friendly welcome, chatty staff at a busy time of the afternoon. Very good selection of local ales and variety of beverages, excellent pub food and very efficient staff. Beautiful garden, lovely lounges/seating, all very laid back and a wonderful afternoon spent in the garden taking drinks after our meals. Thank you, Steve B.
