Extremely friendly staff - very helpful and food is good. Has improved enormously since the take-over and has embraced all during the World Cup run of matches - the hard working staff during these really busy times has been quite incredible and not a cross word!!

Great food. Excellent service. I was impressed with their selection of drinks, especially the variety of gin they have on sale. Very helpful staff and service with a smile. Love this place!

Reserved a table through the website and received a pop-up notification telling me to call if I wanted to reserve an outside table, so I called and did that. Once at the pub, I ended up asking the manager (without knowing he was the manager) if we did get the outside table reserved, to which he replied in a quite rude way saying that outside tables can't be reserved. We then went outside and chose a random empty table, but another waiter, Ben, came to us and asked if it was me he talked to on the phone. I said yes and he proceeded to show us our table which had a reservation plaque with our time slot on it. He was very kind throughout the whole evening, very fun and apologetic. Altogether, food was very good (although one pizza was a bit burnt – but it also came quite late) and, manager aside, service was very good.

Excellent service however the food (Sunday roast) is very average since it’s reopened. Would recommend for a drink (as it has a great selection of gins) but not overly enamoured by the food.

Great gin selection! Good attentive service, nice atmosphere, a little outside the city but worth the ride, great food - had the dips and flat bread appetizer, duck and a pizza. I was looking forward the whitebait appetizer from bourdains show but not on the menu :(

A pub with a touch of romance & class. really inventive menu & great wine list. Give yourself time to try a few new drinks & soak up the elegance. Be aware the football is being shown on screens, not in the dining room but immediately next to it.

Ben, our waiter, was really good - friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and they even gave a free pint to my dad for Father’s Day!

Food was delicious but service was slow. 2 out of 3 desserts forgotten about, and wrong drinks provided than the ones ordered. Missing items on dinner in comparison to menu.

We love the Princess V. Great food, good service, drink prices a little on the heavy side though. Overall great experience, and perfect for Sunday lunch.

Great steak, cooked exactly as requested. Asparagus starter was also delicious as were the croquettes. The burger was a complete let down, woefully over cooked. Shame.

Lovely pub, great friendly staff and the roast was amazing, massive generous portions especially the meat. Will definitely go back there! Managed to get a table last minute, but actually sitting outside of the main dining area was a lot more chilled :)

I went to the Princess Victoria for the third year running last Saturday before attending a football match at QPR. Not far from Shepherd Bush green, this gastro pub offers excellent value for money. This is my favourite place in the area to have drinks and a meal with friends in a very relaxed atmosphere. Great choice of dishes (traditional pub fares & specials) and drinks on the menu. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

The service was on the slow side and the food arrived cold. However the pub is beautiful, very clean and the roast was quite tasty.

It was nice venue with beautiful inside interior and also outside tables. Perfect for sunny weekend lunch and dinner. It’s too far from nearest tube station. Sunday roast was definitely must. I am not sure the dessert. The price was bit too expensive for the location. Two main meals with two beers and one dessert was £49.

We just moved to the neighbourhood and wanted to give it a try... the Noise level not to my liking (Really Loud) The food.. I am not one to even write a review buuut... bad... plain and simple... I ordered an aubergine tagine... it was tinned tomato and tined chickpeas not an aubergine in sight and some olives. oh, and oddly topped with salad leaves! . none of us finished our meal... Tagine cooked and spiced a long time... come on.. with Uxbrige road you cant do that...

Food delicious - perfectly cooked steak, crispy calamari - and the menu was appealing. Service attentive. Decor properly pub-like in a good way. Didn’t have pizza but other peoples’ looked good and they’re great value.

Good food on the whole- we went for the roasts and whilst the chicken was excellent the beef was a bit tough and the Yorkshire pudding a bit dry. Good service and ambience though.

Inattentive service, worse food eg. just two roast potatoes from the freezer which were not crispy, a cold tiny dollop of lumpy bread sauce, what bad pub roasts were like 20 years ago

The service, the staff and the food was amazing. We ordered two Sunday roasts and we were delighted about how big the portion was. The meat was really tasty, as well as the starters. In fact, we were surprised about the Calamari with Alioli, they were incredibly fresh and tasty! We enjoyed every single thing and we will repeat for sure!

One of the best Sunday roasts I've had- and I've had a few. The staff were brilliant too. The place was packed but the high ceilings and skylights kept the atmosphere tranquil.

Food was incredibly so-so, certainly of a lower standard than one has come to expect from a pub that looks as though it takes itself pretty seriously. Also, the food came to table so quickly it was obvious it had been heated up rather than cooked on site. The staff were friendly but inept. Won’t be going back to eat, just for a drink as the pub side of the operation is nice.

Sorry but this is not as good as it used to be. Maybe new management? Dry fish, chips chewy and not hot, beef tough. Disappointing.

Staff were rude. I normally don’t mind dining alone but here it was not a great experience. The waitress at the end taking my payment tisked at me when I put my pin code in - like I was a child? Will not be returning, even though I really enjoyed the food.

Totally recommend for Sunday lunch. Great atmosphere and the food was excellent. Probably recommend the roast beef over the Pork Belly (which was really quite rich) and according to my wife, the Nut Roast was one of the best she has had. And desserts were delicious. Family friendly.

Service was great. Beautiful pub. Roast dinner was barely warm on cold plates although good taste. Nice touch with free prosecco for mums. Son had burger but unfortunately he was throwing up after lunch! Not sure what caused that!

Having grown up next to this pub and my mum still living next to it, it has always been close to my heart, the food is excellent and the atmosphere and gin selection superb, my only disappoint is some times, especially at the bar and sometimes in the restaurant it is apparent as to who they want in this pub and who they do not and I have found that frustrating very frustrating, I hope the pub does not forget it is located next to a council estate and those people have the same rights to buy a drink in this pub as anyone else, I drink in there every QPR match day and we dine as 7 people monthly so it is not like we are not contributing to the success of this establishment less so than anyone else.
