First time visitor and one of those local places that you never get around to visiting ! Found the food and service excellent and we definitely be returning very soon

Really fresh food. Delicious. Friendly staff too. Would recommend if you enjoy food on the spicy side. Quick, efficient and friendly. We will definitely come again.

Excellent food and service as usual. The waiters were attentive throughout, food and drinks were served promptly. Complimentary drinks were provided at the end of the evening.

Food and service was lovely, restaurant was initially cold when we first went in so felt a little uncomfortable but once we mentioned it to staff the heating was turned up so all was good.

My husband and I hadn't been to the purple rooms for a while, we were not disappointed. Food and service was as good as it's always been,thank you Luke,for making us feel so welcome.

Friendly welcome, nice décor, very good choice of food. Food was well presented, good sized portions, hot and fresh. The only disappointing meal for the four of us was a biryani which was very oily, otherwise everything very enjoyable. Reasonable prices.

The Purple Rooms always provide top quality food in comfortable surroundings and the service is excellent. There is a new menu ŵhich offers some very tasty dishes but the aloo chana Dahl is still as good as ever . The chef has been there for over twenty years and always provides excellent food and sundries.

We have been visiting this restaurant since it opened and have seen it improve nearly all the time. Since the younger Mr Chaudhary has taken over from his father the menu has been overhauled, there are special offers - especially the Monday and Thursday fixed-price deals - and the food has improved yet again. Seven of us met last night, two travelling from Kenilworth, and enjoyed a great evening together. It is our favourite Indian restaurant, and often our first choice for a special occasion, unless we wish to have a change from Asian food. The owner is very knowleable about the food and can recommend dishes, based on the information given to him about how hot a person likes their food, what sort of dish they prefer (e.g. lots of sauce, not much sauce, something light) which has always been "spot on" for the people who have asked for advice when we have been there. They were also well ahead of the new law about gluten-free recipes and other allergens, so there is no need to worry if you need to avoid specific foods.

My wife and I had a lovely meal at the Purple Rooms, the staff are friendly and on hand if you need them. The food is very nice and fairly priced for the quality you receive. The only down side is the price of the drinks. They only have bottled beer available and a small bottle is £3.90 with a large bottle of beer coming in at £5.90. At that price I had 1 and then stuck to the water….

The quality of the food and how it is served makes this a rstuaurant ..........more than a place for a nice curry. The service was courteous and really nice when you are taking people for something special........we will definitely be coming back.
