Lovely evening with friends, but felt a bit rushed particularly at the end of the evening as another booking had been made and we were only given 1.5hrs for an evening meal as last night before lockdown Food was good.

No communication from staff at all, long waiting time for starter. Heard other customers complaining, but no apology offered. Food disappointingly average. Pub missed a trick - great opportunity to entice new custom as we are local.

Visited for Sunday roast. Nice inside athough tables too close together, could hear conversation clearly from next table. Dinner was average but service was excellent. Very poor quality of my orange juice - tasted like it had been diluted substantially so that I could hardly detect any orange at all, had barely two sips. A pity as we had not been there before and probably would not return.

Lovely country pub , relaxing, friendly, professional service. The food was delicious, my husband had the lamb stew and said it was the best one he’s had , the ingredients was fresh and good quality and also reasonable prices. We stayed for a drink after in the bar , which was also relaxing.

Dreadful service. 2.5 hrs to get a simple starter, fish & chips & a brownie. Understaffed in half term week (always a busy time). Staff should have warned us that there would be a long wait for food. Nearly 1 hr to get hummus/pitta bread!!! Fish was not good, a lump of unknown fish, a handful of dry chips.
