Seeing uncle after two years, and as he lived near the rose inn, we had meal there before, and really enjoyed it, so we decided re visit, and was t disappointed.

We have dined in this restaurant several times in the last year. It is the best restaurant in the area. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and efficient, and it is good value for money. Free parking right outside the door and a welcoming atmosphere from the start. We will be back!

We recently ate at the Rose Garden to celebrate my parents 65th wedding anniversary as it is one of their favourite places to eat. Since it moved location from the end of their road in Leigh to The Dome in Hullbridge they had only been able to visit on a couple of occasions over the last few years. However, at this recent visit they were remembered by the staff and made to feel so very welcome that it made their day! Thank you all!

What a great way to celebrate our 54th Wedding Anniversary - absolutely superb from start to finish. A very warm welcome, excellent service, menu and food with a comprehensive wine list - indeed The Rose Garden has our highest recommendation.

Kept waiting at door. Then waited ages for a menu. Bread roll offered when we’d finished our starters. Sent up to Carvery and waited ages for a server. Didn’t want to order a dessert as we didn’t want to wait. Really disappointed. Surrounded by ‘dirty’ tables. Obviously under staffed.

What a fantastic little place! If your hoping for a quick tasteless meal do not go here, it’s a proper ala carte restaurant doing it properly so if you want great taste be patient. So clean, tidy and well presented staff are so welcoming. The chefs hard work definitely goes to show with the taste of the food and the presentation. If anyone is worried about dining since COVID this is the place to go you actually see them cleaning the menus etc. They have everything organised it’s a tight little ship that I hope continues to be a huge success for them! Defo a hidden gem first time we’ve tried it by word of mouth someone recommended it and we live five minutes away. We will be back, thank you the rose garden!

Lovely welcoming staff exceptional food, my wife had the Duck and I had the prawns and the Beef Wellington both excellent only one very slight criticism the cauliflower was a bit overdone for me but everything else was perfect

The ambience in the restaurant was very nice. Food was excellent. Service was very friendly, albeit a bit slow in serving drinks. Would definitely go back. The only criticism (but will know in future) was that we did not know when the last order for drinks was due to the 10pm curfew. So it would have been nice to have been told when last orders were when we arrived. But a thoroughly enjoyable meal.
