This was our first visit and will definitely not be our last. The food was amazing especially for a lunch set menu. The service was exceptional, so efficient polite and friendly. Excellent value for money, we hope to be back soon.

the Rose Garden is a hidden gem. The carvery was absolutely lovely and we had a lovely afternoon. Compliments to the chef and to the staff

Food was lovely however starters were now overly kid friendly for a Father’s Day special menu it would have been good to see either a tomato soup or veggie stock starter for kids

Such a lovely place friendly staff and delicious food the meat is falling apart it is so tender, would definitely recommend.

I tried the indian platter as a starter this time, it was superb, definitely recommend it. Our friends thought the whitebait was really tasty. All our mains were really nice. No room for dessert.

My husband and I went to The Rose Garden for lunch today. The food was amazing, staff friendly & very reasonably priced. This wasn't our first visit & definitely won't be our last. Just a shame we are not closer. Beautiful restaurant with freshly cooked food everytime.

We had a lovely dinner ancvcvrning at The Rose Garden today. We were celebrating our friend's 70th birthday and everything was perfect.

The food, service and decor were excellent. There was only 1 other table in use on the evening we went so was very quiet. That suited us as we could chat without shouting. Food cooked to order so we had to wait a while but the food was excellent. Maybe it is busier on other days as it deserves to be.

A restaurant where you can go for a lovely meal and hold a conversation in calm and relaxing environment. A joy. (Food good too. Great menu to choose from)

Went to Curry Night. Absolutely gorgeous. I Highly recommend it.

The restaurant was very busy, but there were only two staff serving. Fortunately because we were amongst the earliest customers to arrive, while the service was slower than normal it was still satisfactory. The food was up to its usual hight standard especially my favourite Tomato with basil soup. My partner had Tuna fishcakes which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our only complaint about our main courses was the amount of food on the plate. My sirloin steak was cooked exactly as I wanted and had three sizeable pieces on my plate which I just managed to finish. My partner had Chicken Wellington which he thoroughly enjoyed but could only eat two of the three large portions on his plate. As always an enjoyable meal to celebrate my 76th. birthday.

Chilani and his staff did not disappoint this afternoon.The staff were very polite and helpful .The food was so good as usual,(the 1st time back for a couple of years ,)the beef just melted,Thank you and will be back very soon x

This was our first visit for a Sunday Carvery lunch. We opted for the three courses and are now fit to explode as the portions were more than generous but tasted so good you couldn’t help but keep eating them. 🤣 Staff were attentive and friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to visit again.

My daughter & I always enjoy our meals at the "Rose Garden". The food is always cooked fresh and always tastes very good. Charlotte is a lovely waitress, very efficient and attentive. We highly recommend the Rose Garden.

We went on a quiet night, only party there! The atmosphere, service & food were excellent. I understand it is very busy at weekends, so I highly recommend visiting midweek.

Food was lovely 6 clear plates on 3 courses. Restaurant just needs better toilet facilities for wheel chair users.

The food was very good.You must have a great chef that's for sure! Nicely presented aswell. A little overpriced considering the location but I guess that's in line with everything. The only downfall was we were the only ones in the restaurant so no atmosphere... And we were cold as there was no heating on so that would stop us coming until it warms up outside!

The food was amazing as usual. We have eaten at the Rose Garden quite a few times and we have never been disappointed.
