Food lovely but restaurant very cold no heating. When asked if we could have the heating on we were told the owner was up stairs. Probably by the fire. Staff very friendly, lovely pub
A lovely pub with a Sunday lunch optiond along side normal menu Great service good selection of wine .food was delicious and plentiful will definitely be returning
Love the pub food is fantastic especially chicken and rib combo I had. Drinks are plenty love the cloudy apple strongbow really recommend with or without kids great staff made very welcome
Friendly greeting. The food was lovely - beautifully cooked and very hot - in very generous portions. Helpful, attentive service. Not cheap, but certainly not dreadfully dear either. Very good value,
we went to the royal oak for Friday lunch, the staff were lovely and the food was delightful, will be going again soon, recommended highly
Went to the Royal Oak to celebrate my Mums 89th Birthday. Cannot fault the place the food or the service. Will certainly go back and would not hesitate to recommend. My Mum enjoyed her treat and on the way home said she would like to return for her 90th. My Mum is hard to please so that in itself speaks volumes for the place. I plan to return on my birthday in November.
Amazing menu, Great food and generous portions. Lovely staff and fantastic service. The restaurant has a buzzy atmosphere which created a relaxed and friendly eating experience.
Never had a bad meal or had to send anything back and come here regularly 😊 I would always recommend and staff are lovely! Food is fab!
