Visiting Ruchi's is always a great experience with good food, helpful staff and a fine atmosphere.

This was our first visit, early evening so very quiet, service was good food was excellent,.and prices reasonable A wide choice of dishes with usual Indian favourites and a wide range of chef's and house specialities. Our choice of dishes where well presented and of excellent quality. Have visited many Indian restaurants in the Lichfield area and the Royal Ruchi goes to the top of our favourites list.

Very expensive for mediocre food,no garnish on starters just wasnt great at all.

Meal was very good. It was spoiled by waiter insisting that 4 spoons of sugar are required to make an Irish coffee and he couldn't be persuaded otherwise despite our complaints.

We had a lovely meal, we all thoroughly enjoyed it, the food was great and the service was too, explained dishes can be adapted to suit taste if wanted a particular dish but would prefer milder or spicier, would be cooked to suit. Would certainly recommend. Lovely!

Great restaurant, staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and don't hover around waiting for you to finish. The menu is some what limited with many of the hot and spicy dishes being removed which is a shame, and the prices appear to have gone up to. Great night put with friends.

Excellent service, very attentive to all your needs and very well dressed . The choice and the quality of the food was outstanding, the atmosphere was perfect, it was cosy and comfortable, also the was very inviting, the staff were amazing. When the bill arrived it was amazing value and all I can do is congralate all for a very enjoyable evening

fantastic meal, attentive staff. wonderful food and masses of it.. My only complaint is that if it's quite the staff hang around the table and it's very off putting.Also the minute you sit down they start asking what you want to drink and are a bit annoying at that point because you want to enjoy the whole experience not be rushed into snap decisions. they also could do with sorting the background music out as it was rather loud and not in keeping with the ambiance of the place. Otherwise it is a great curry house and is relatively peaceful even when it's busy.

You can airways guarantee a fabulous evening, the staff are attentive without being in your face, food is always excellent and they cater for dietary requirements, which is essential for us.

This was out first visit to Ruchi, which had been prompted by family members and friends telling us how much they have been enjoying regular visits. The village setting is nice. The restaurant interior is quaint with nicely laid tables with tablecloth and gold platters. Other than that though we found this to a rather ordinary Indian restaurant experience. The service was slow, a bit confused and not very happy. We felt a bit like we were a nuisance. The menu did not accurately reflect what drinks were available and they brought beer we did not order. The starters were disappointing. Kebabs and Samosas that I suspect were not home made served with a drab bit of salad. The pickles and sauces were also low quality in our view and I think straight out of a bottle. No lime pickle and super sweet mango syrup. We chose classic main course dishes to share. They were very ordinary, lacking seasoning and spice. The rice was bland and soggy and arrived in a curious upturned yoghurt pot. All in all, it was disappointing given that we had traveled a long way and on great recommendation. For this standard of Indian food we may as well get our local takeaway to deliver and save ourselves a long journey. It was a busy Saturday night so we will try it again on quieter evening.

First time at this restaurant and WOW it was amazing the setting the staff the food and attention to detail. I must say it was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be returning. We were told by word of mouth to try it and it really was worth the visit. You could see how popular it was by the customers and you could tell the staff knew some of them obviously as they were returning customers.

This was my first visit to the Royal Ruchi despite living only a few hundred years away but it certainly won't be the last. Lovely atmosphere, great food and attentive service. Thoroughly recommended.

Nice restaurant food really good and well presented. Very good service. Only gripe - the tables are rather close to each other. Apart from that a very enjoyable evening. Will definitely go again.

Ruchi was excellent as always, both the food and service were both superb. We have been here on multiple occasions now and have never been disappointed, would reccomend to anyone to visit

Lovely meal here on Saturday. Staff very welcoming and attentive. It’s a very popular restaurant so you’d need to book at a weekend but we’ll woerh a visit.

This is one of the best places to eat i have ever found been coming for 13 years not found better yet 10/10 will be back yet again

Fabulous food and attentive service made my birthday evening special. Highly recommend it. Food well presented and wasn’t greasy unlike some curry restaurants. Choice of menu is excellent.
