Mains were lovely, desserts were very limited in choice so was skipped. Wasnt applicable to our party, but the time from order to getting food was too long to consider going to Salt Bar in lunch hour from work.

Lovely find away from the Main Street. I would definitely recommend the meatballs! It can sometimes feel a little quiet earlier on, but once it fills up there’s a nice atmosphere.

The food was wonderful my son is a vegetarian and I tasted his and it was superb and the wine was lovely as a birthday treat the meal was our of this world xx can't wait to go again xx

Fantastic, contemporary food in a beautifully decorated and characterful restaurant. The staff were very friendly, and there were two vegan options on the relatively small menu. I’ll definitely be back.

Great food fantastic service, been meaning to visit for a while now but well worth the wait, eveyone else in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying there visit as well. 👍

Had to ask for butter with crispbread on smorgasbord and then barely enough for one let alone two. Meatballs no where near as nice as when first visited. Flavour has changed. Service ok but we were the only ones there to start. Overall the restaurant has not moved on from it's launch. Would probably not go out of our way to visit again.

The food here is excellent as was the service. The prawns on toast and herb crusted cod were delicious. A gem of a find in Macclesfield! Can’t recommend enough.

very pleasant early evening meal, I love the pickles and the service was very cheerful and pleasant. However the choice of dishes on the early birds offer was not as good as last time we ate there (A Saturday)

Haven’t been for a while, was looking forward to the famous meatballs... Unfortunately they were nothing like they used to be. Smaller portions & they fell apart. Asked for second drinks but didn’t get them. One member of waiting staff was constantly muttering under breath, very off putting! Not sure we’ll be rushing back.

Very relaxed , with good food and range of drinks which are reasonably priced. I would certainly recommend a visit to the Salt bar for a chilled experience.

Absolutely fantastic. We were impressed from start to finish. Great interior, superb food and friendly service. Really reasonably priced and it offers something truly original and unique being unapologetically genuinely Scandinavian to the smallest detail. Perfect!

Good to find a Scandinavian themed restaurant/bar, Early evening fixed price menu was excellent value. Staff courteous, amiable and professional. Mackerel pâté and pytt i panna recommended!

Delicious food and friendly service. Despite the small restaurant being full we were served quickly enough and the waitress was very apologetic about even the slightest delay.

Great food and great service. We had the last table for lunch at 1.30 so the atmosphere was perfect and despite being full the food and service didn't suffer.

Excellent food and great, accommodating service. All three of us enjoyed the food, we would definitely be going there again. My guests were discussing what they would have next time!
