The Seahorse

The Seahorse is a casual dining restaurant, bar and coffee shop that’s as charming as its name suggests. We just love it, as does the rest of Gosport. You can find it on Broadsands Drive in Alverstoke where an entirely homemade menu waits. There’s a small emphasis on seafood so you’d be wise to have a try of the fish pie. It’s creamy and it’s thick. The beer battered cod is made with guest real ales and the salt and pepper squid is a dream. There’s also a strong showing from other British classics: liver and bacon, check. Gammon and egg, check. Beef lasagne, check. You simply have to try The Seahorse at Gosport. Goodness, we almost got carried away there...
