Scottish food is based on the huge diversity of fresh ingredients and high-quality meat products available to the nation’s chefs. At The Shore on Carronshore Road in Falkirk, they offer an insight into all of these strengths, with a menu that takes in the traditional dishes of Scottish cuisine and takes them to the next level through local seafood, steaks, fish and chips and plenty more. Offering an informal yet cool dining experience, this is the ideal spot to refuel after a day spent out in the great outdoors or for a pub dinner of a Sunday. The team behind The Shore Falkirk have really nailed it with this beaut, so we highly advise taking a trip out to Carron as soon as possible. Just remember to book a table ahead of time, as they can get pretty busy particularly on the weekends.
There are many things to love about Scottish cuisine: the wide range of ingredients available from local farmers, the superlative standard of meat and dairy products on offer, and the talents of chefs that can make the most of the gifts given to them. At The Shore on Carronshore Road – in the district of Carron on the outskirts of Falkirk – they have everything one could want in a Scottish bar: a full menu, a welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff.
The menu at The Shore Falkirk is as good as any place to start. With Carron lying so close to the Firth of Forth, you can be sure of great seafood: scallops, smoked haddock, prawn cocktail and monkfish tails are all on offer on Carronshore Road. Add to this a selection of bar favourites, such as fish and chips, steaks, gammon and egg and burgers and you’re well on your way to a great night out in Falkirk. Book a table at The Shore Falkirk and head on over for a great Scottish feed.
Food was excellent! Steak dinner for two and a bottle of wine for £30 was very good value for money. Only drank half the wine so took the rest home.
Food and service was amazing, we got the steak deal which gives you 2 sirloin steak meals and a bottle of wine for £30, the meal was perfect and service was really fast, staff are also very friendly, highly recommend.
Lovely meal and friendly staff. Excellent atmosphere and made to feel very welcome. The quality of the food was very good and fast service. Recommemded
First visit for dinner & found both the service & the food excellent. Being new residents to the area we've found a gem Frank maneuvering
The Shore is without doubt a very big favourite of mine, the service is second to none and the food is always well presented and tastes so good. The owners take good care of their customers and the atmosphere is always welcoming and comfortable. Strongly recommend that the Shore should be a place to visit and then return to again and again
On first appearance the Shore just looks like a pub/restaurant with a sports bar. However, on entering the doors the atmosphere is great, the staff very friendly and welcoming and the food is really excellent in both quality and quantity, and at a very reasonable price too. The waiting staff were very attentive. The menu offers an excellent choice of food to suit all tastes. We would certainly visit again next time we are in the area and would highly recommend the Shore to others.
Five pensioners out for an early meal before going to Cinema. Like the fact that they do this early evening special rates for one or two courses. None of us have big appetites now and the one or two courses is just fine for us. They have a nice varied menu. Four of us had the Macaroni Cheese with chips and salad and one had Steak and Ale Pie . We all enjoyed our meal. Nice pleasant staff.
As always our visit to the Shore on Friday 23rd December was lovely, lovely welcome by Marilyn great menu a lovely choice, lovely staff so attentive as always! Great fun at the quiz we didn't win but it's the taking part that counts, and Chris as ever the perfect dj plays all our requests as always even the impossible ones!! Fabulous night as usual!! Thankyou all very much we will see you in the new year!! xx
Fabulous Scottish meal on Burns night. The chicken stuffed with black pudding and rolled in oatmeal was superb, as was the haggis starter! I've never been disappointed with meals at The Shore. A first class, very friendly venue.
Another great dinner at The Shore ...... as ever food, service and ambience were fabulous... a local restaurant that punches above its weight... we're so lucky to have such a great venue in our village!
