Good service, perhaps a bit quick with not much break between courses (but this is personal preference) lovely food that was perfectly cooked and reasonably priced.

Good food, attentive service together with a really nice environment within the pub. good and varied choice on the menu - the only (minor) issue was with the roast bef where the Yorkshire pudding was massive ( and a little dry) and the potatoes were' solid'without the crispy edge that one normally associates with this roast vegetable.

Been here before on a Sunday afternoon and the experience was fantastic. This time I took my family there for Mother's Day and it was not as good as our previous visit. Food was of a high quality, though the roast potatoes were rock solid that my 11 yr old could not cut into them. There staff seemed inexperienced behind the bar but this might be due to getting extra people to accommodate the busy day and not being fully trained. Price wise I thought was expensive, but overall a very good place to go for the special occasions.

They didn't have the restaurant open and sat us in the bar. I was very disappointed as for a dinner for 2 that cost £80 surely deserved the restaurant and not the bar where the dogs were sat!!!! The food was really nice though and worth the money, I was just disappointed where they sat us.

Lovely pub,but four out of six guests did not enjoy their meal. Only two of us decided to have dessert one of which was sent back. I was really disappointed as the venue was my idea. Shame.

We went to the Snooty Fox for lunch on Saturday. The choice of starters and main courses was varied and there were several of each we would have liked to try as well as the meals we choose. The food was really fantastic and as usual the service was brilliant. The desserts were mainly traditional which pleased me but I think my Wife would have liked something lighter and maybe a little more exotic.

Price of your food is too high particularly those for the size of helpings served. The sole waitress was very pleasant, polite and in good spirit.

We have eaten at The Snooty Fox many times now - it is an ideal place for meeting friends from a distance. The service is always impeccable and the food has always been fabulous. Today the roast beef was delicious, as always, however today the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding were over-cooked and mainly just crunchy with little else and we were disappointed that the cauliflower cheese was tiny. The rest of the food was great and we will return.

Fine dining it is not. It should choose either to be a restaurant or a pub. No warmth. Staff were sweet enough but inexperienced. We also had the pleasure of the evening entertainment in the bar doing a very long and loud sound check which ruined our meal. It's a lovely building fabulous setting our food was acceptable but we won't be going again.

Good food, excellent service, fabulous old country pub. Useful online booking service. Will definitely go again. Access not great for the elderly or disabled as steps and gravel drive but otherwise all good.

The staff were very welcoming and attentive, the food and service were good. There was a good choice on the standard menu and also the specials board. The lounge was warm and cosy, so much so that we didn't want to leave and go back out into the cold dreary damp day.

Nice food in a beautiful old Village pub. Good quality food priced appropriately. Good atmosphere with modern decoration and subtle lighting make this a must visit for a special occasion.

We found the snooty fox to be a lovely welcoming pub with a bar or restaurant menu available in the separate restaurant. The pub itself was cosy and had a lovely feel with settees by the fire and the staff were lovely with our waitress being being possibly the most smoky person I've ever met! And the food was beautiful, great selection and a specials board. We had the steak and if was mouth watering and as it was my daughters 18th they bought the cake out and sang happy birthday too :)

Very friendly staff, excellent food from a really good and varied menu, have had a great experience every time I have eaten at this well presented olde world pub with a great wine and real ale as well as lager selection.

Disappointed with the quality of the steaks. The overall atmosphere in the pub wasn't great. However, the service was excellent, both behind the bar and waitress.

Food was a reasonable quality but the service was dire. Had to wait 20 minutes for first drink to arrive having waved our arms to catch the attention of the staff and they subsequently forgot our dessert menu and then the dessert. You shouldn't be thirsty sat in a pub and the price was above average. Not great tbh and won't be rushing back.

warm welcome and attentive but not intrusive service. Oven baked mushrooms were raw, which is not a problem but a bit of surprise. Good 3 course meal with 1/3 bottle of wine each was £40pp inc tip. Very hot in the restaurant - no air con?

We booked for my son's birthday 8 people altogether & the staff were very polite and the food was delicious. My elderly mother who also celebrated her birthday recently was treated exceptionally well and the staff went the extra mile which made her evening. I would definitely recommend The Snooty Fox to friends and will be returning at some point soon hopefully.

Beautiful location and property. Very efficient, friendly staff and excellent service. Great ambiance. The food was very good indeed. No burgers, properly thought our cuisine with gorgeous sauces - very tasty. It is a little on the pricey side, but I think it is certainly value for money and definitely worth the spend.

A little under staffed when we arrived and the Duck a little over cooked, but all in all a pleasent night and meal in very clean and presentable pub/restaurant with polite staff.
