There was 14 of us , the staff did well , little trouble trying to find it ? Food was very nice , I had set menu ended up paying extra for another portion of vegetables

Birthday meal so a la carte menu. Starters excellent, My husbands main pork he loved, my duck unfortunately was not good so it was exchanged speedily for the pork. so we were happy. Lovely place to visit.

I cannot rate this place high enough from the food to the ambience and the staff. The most delicious food, served beautifully by helpful staff in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The tables are spaced sensibly so you do not have to squeeze in or feel squashed. The setting is magnificent. The menu and the food is divine. Absolutely superb on all counts - faultless. Thank you to the owners for well and truly allowing us to stay on well past our time yesterday and have a long, lengthy catch up. Much appreciated. I thoroughly recommend this place.

Staff were lovely there was no steak Duck that my daughter had was overcooked said pink on the menu but was no pink at all. Spinach under salmon was very watery and nothing was very hot. So was slightly disappointed with food. The puddings were amazing .

We had a lovely evening at The Spotted Dog. Menu makes the best of seasonal ingredients, creative and delicious. The only real complaint I have is to do with the tables. They are low, no leg room which made dining uncomfortable and caused much discomfort. It is however, still worth a visit and a great find.

A last minute visit to these lovely place and as usual we were not disappointed. Food was delicious. We had the 3 courses for 18.95, plus we had 20% off so a not so expensive lunch time treat. The owners were as always really lovely and attentive and the staff were very pleasant too. We have been to this lovely restaurant a number of times and my husband swears that he cannot get a steak as fantastic as this place anywhere else!! Thanks for an amazing meal yet again be back to see you soon
