Six of us (adults) had a wonderful evening at the Spotted Dog, only slightly marred by a baby who would from time to time scream quite loudly, I do get this at 19:00 in the evening, but had enough by 21:00 and was glad when the family left. Being a Mother of two I get totally how difficult this can be, and other than this everything was great. Extensive menu of beautifully cooked and presented food, charming friendly host and waiting staff, and lovely comfortable surroundings, we will be back for sure.

We count The Spotted Dog as one of our favourite places to eat. Anita and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Food always excellent and atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Will continue dining here for as long as Anita and Simon are there.

An excellent evening - we hadn't been for a couple of years but when a 25% off voucher came through our door we decided to go and we weren't disappointed. A friendly, warm pub, the main course was excellent, the puddings good. The service was considerate, they made sure you were Ok without bothering you. An enjoyable evening.

Went for lunch with 2 friends. ~Received a warm welcome from Simon and Anita. All three of us thought the food was excellent and my Pear dessert was sensational. Anita was a delightful host. All three of us will definitely return, a most enjoyable experience.
