We both had Sunday roast & it was very tasty We were served by Kelsey who is a very pleasant young woman & very knowledgeable also the chef today was Walter excellent food

Food was very good as usual, only problem was we had the 3 bar snacks for £12 but got charged the full price, the girl said because I used my rewards that were £30 of a £60 or more spend, but it doesn’t say anywhere on the menu that there were conditions attached

Food was good, only downside was vegetables apart from the cabbage were all burnt on one side & very had to cut through The sea bass was excellent

Food was piping hot & plentiful as usual, the staff are so pleasant & helpful, especially Eleanor, Kelsey, a special mention has to go too Robert the chef for his delicious food

Starters & then Sunday roast were so good & plentiful, extra plate of vegetables is very welcome

The waitress serving us was so friendly & knowledgeable, she knew every dish without having to double check, I think her name was Elenor or something like that An assett to the stables staff

We had a lovely Sunday roast & our side of cauliflower cheese was the cheesiest & warmest we have had in the stables

It was very busy as they had to accommodate the bookings for the Tickled Trout as well We had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks, the starters were not to long behind the drinks My tomato soup was a big let down, it was 100% Heinz tomato soup with pepper sprinkled on top, I don’t like pepper unless cooked into the food, the 2 Sunday roasts were lovely T

The food is plentiful & so tasty, we had the Sunday roast with a side of mash & a side of cauliflower cheese

Was served by the lovely Roisin again, she is always very pleasant & nothing is to much trouble The girls & boy serving food & drinks to the table are all so pleasant & smile when speaking to you

We were seated at the table facing the door out to the garden, unfortunately a bit cold when people were coming & going But the Sunday roast was exceptional as were the bar snacks 3 for £10, Roisin our server & the young boy assisting her were very pleasant & looked after us

Another lovely family meal, we really enjoy getting food here and the farmhouse feel interior makes for a pleasant feel to the dinning area.

The drinks, starters & mains all arrived in good time But they ignored us for 25 minutes, serving other tables & new arrivals, they couldn’t ignore the empty plates & glasses all sitting to the one side of the table We wanted dessert & coffees, eventually after shouting excuse me the manager came over & he apologised for the time we waited saying it was a change over of staff but this shouldn’t have happened, he would go & see why this happened I know we were just in the back section of the dinning room, our first time & last, I will never be in this section again The manager took some money off my bill as a way of an apology which was nice

The family really enjoy eating here the restaurant if warm and has a homely feel and the food is great. The fish is and chips is a great dish, the batter is the tasty one I had and definitely recommend this as a good choice.

We had a lovely meal and staff are really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and my grandson loved the classic burger, not sure they good add anymore to it without you getting lockjaw.
