One of the nicest places I’ve stayed. My wife loves it. Great food If your looking for a beautiful night away. Look no further.

Food was tasty and good value for money. Service was slower than expected even though the restaurant was not that busy.

Made very welcome on arrival. Very busy inside and out. All the safety measures in place as well. Brilliant we will return.

I was told on the phone and advertised via Facebook that the pub took part in eat out to help out. We were charged full price unfortunately seems very dishonest.

Great food and excellent service, dog friendly too definitely will go again.

Great pub, delicious food, well presented and good value, friendly staff and good service, only down side was a table in the back room next to the kitchen door, busy area with staff coming and going with orders.

Very clean and relaxed atmosphere. Was worried how things would be after covid while restrictions are still tight but we didn't need to worry. Very friendly and took advantage of the £10 off per person scheme.

Easy booking, lovely, hearty comfort food, great ales and excellent service.

Booked for lunch after a nice walk around Entwistle reservoir. Service was excellent with very efficient & polite staff.

Fish and chip Friday's are always good! cheaper than a chippy!

No social distancing with tables. Sat in a small area with 4 other diners, not 1 metre+ apart. Felt uneasy & uncomfortable

Poor service, sat in side room and ignored by staff, not Covid related as other customers who arrived after us had food orders taken and served before our order was taken. Grey fish in fishfinger butty which was so deep fried it was chewy. Chips not chips but huge undercooked, non crispy wedges.

Our first visit out to a restaurant since lockdown had a very good meal social distancing in operation so felt safe throughout our stay

Had a lovely day out in the beer garden and then had a meal inside the food was well worth waiting for , cos I'm an old fuzzy duddy did not like the music on the speakers but at least it wasn't to.loud could hear ourselves speak ! The staff work very hard too hard Thanks for a great afternoon and meal

Overall, it was 'nice'. To be greeted at 11.58 when we had a table booked at 12pm with "you'll have to wait, we're not ready yet" was not the best welcome. On first glance, it seems as if the place is set up to deal with Covid regulations, but it was a bit inconsistent. There's a one way system, but the staff pass on plates, glasses, cutlery without a second thought. The amount of times we heard guests being directed to the outside bar, you'd think they'd put up a sign. There was just a general air of confusion for guests. We had the Sunday roast, again which was nice but the roast potatoes weren't freshly cooked which is a massive bugbear of mine. Lovely setting, lovely refurb, unfortunately I won't be in a rush to go back.

Fantastic evening. Food was delicious as always and customer service was second to none.

It was great to be able to book online. Covid restrictions and safety measures were well thought out and reassuring. Our puppy's first visit and she loved the doggy menu and chose sausages. Our meals were great and the service was spot on. A welcome break between the Entwistle and Wayoh walks

The food and drinks were amazing, the portions are huge! The service was 10/10 and all the staff are lovely. Good social distancing measures are in place and I felt comfortable throughout the evening

Excellent food and service as always, the southern fried chicken was exceptional, as was the beer. Parking is tricky but well worth it.

There was very little in terms of social distancing. Space between tables did not seem sufficient and a lunch for four people came to nearly £100. The food was okay but the lack of distancing made it uncomfortable and coupled with the extortionate prices made it a place we would be unlikely to visit again.

Great food, huge portions think ill skip the starter next time as i couldnt finish, good social distancing and one way system in place

Lovely food and attentive staff but the atmosphere has changed, due to the processes that they have had to adopt. This it my first time in a pub/restaurant since lockdown restrictions were relaxed, so I think it will take a little getting used too. The staff did really well though and I felt they have done everything they can to keep us safe while providing a good experience. Thank you..the food was great too. Really nice experience.

Having booked in for 7:15 we arrived on time and were seated straight away. Drinks arrived quickly and order was taken promptly too. Food arrived quite quickly and portion sizes were very generous, ended up taking a doggy bag home. Food was tasty, we will go back here. 2 lager shandy’s and 2 main meals (chicken in a basket and cheese pie) and bill was £38 so definitely not in the cheap side.

Enjoyed our 1st visit back to The Strawbury Duck for a number of years. Hopefully we will return soon! Thankyou to all the staff, who performed their individual roles in a very professional manner. Well done!
