The food was average at best, felt like it was rushed. The young girl that served us all night was tremendous. If not for her it would have been a very bad experience, she was a star. Wish I could remember her name.

At the cost of the meal I would except the food to be good but it was only ok. Worst risotto I’ve ever had.

Went for a birthday meal on the evening. The food was Beautiful , very well presented and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We have dined here several times and always left happy but this Sunday's visit was extra special. For starters, the homemade cauliflower cheese soup was ridiculously tasty and the main course was of an exceptionally high standard too - fresh and piping hot. The cheesecake to finish was nothing short of divine. An easy 10/10 on quality all round. In terms of service, staff are perfect too. They have great timing and impeccable manners, as well as being very friendly and presentable. If forced to come up with criticism to balance things a tiny bit, it would be great to see the vegetarian options switched up every now and again or perhaps a regular 'surprise' veggie special on a Sunday. There are two main options which are excellent but given how good this place is, we'd like to come back most weeks and I'm not sure I'd want the same two things time and again. That being said, the above comment shouldn't deter anyone (even veggies) from visiting The Swan because places that offer this kind of quality and service at a sensible price are few and far between.

As always the service and presentation at The Swan was perfect. On this occasion my wife and I chose the Road Beef Sunday Lunch. The meals were delivered to us with a selection of vegetables and they looked scrumptious, a proper Sunday roast. The waitress enquired to our satisfaction of the meals and we promptly replied that all was fine, however we did have the slightest of quibbles in that the beef although looking perfect was rather tough to the cutting and chewing. This said we still enjoyed our meals and will return to The Swan again without hesitation. Thank you and kind regards.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at the swan yesterday. Always great food and nice quiet atmosphere.

Had a lovely meal and all of the party were very happy with the food. Service was good the only thing we were a little disappointed with was having to move from our table without having the birthday cake served, we sat in the bar area but were all separated as we were a party of twelve.

Unfortunately the regular manager was on leave and the staff seemed disorganised. The wait for food was in excess of an hour and Risotto was made with long grain rice.

Lovely lunch, we go often with my elderly grandmother. Brilliant choice of classic pub grub and variety of fish dishes. Reasonably priced and well worth the visit.

Lovely atmosphere, beautifully laid out and decorated, and the food was fabulous. Really nice to see the chef coming out to chat to diners as well Service was top notch too. A great place, have never been disappointed, always consistently good.
