The Swan Blakedown

4 of us visited for lunch, a very pleasant young lady serving Bar and Restaurant. Food served hot, well cooked and in good time. Menu seemed to have a good wide range choice. We had no time pressure to leave the table which for our friends meeting was much appreciated. Only negative Toilets!! Really ned sorting out.

First time we had visited. First 15 mins spoiled by being sat next to a party with loud kids! Food was absolutely wonderful!

Lovely meal and attentive staff in spite of the fact that there was a private party going on so the pub was very busy.

Good Sunday lunch menu with excellent vegetarian option. Lots of choice, well cooked meal.

Very tasty and enjoyable meal. My only slight niggle was that after enjoying and paying for the meal, I popped to the loo on the way out to see a poster offering a "pie and a pint" for half the price I had paid for a pie, a pint and a pudding.

Went with the family to celebrate a first wedding anniversary, service really good, food lovely but T-bone steak a little tough, good time had by all tho.

We were a group of 5 including a 3 year old. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was excellent I had duck and the sauce was fantastic. My grand daughter loved the pasta. In all a great experience for all of us. Highly recommended

Waitress made us few very welcome. Really friendly and a beautiful smile. Unfortunately the starters— the soup was very bland. And the nachos needed a little more attention The mains. Notably the steaks were cooked correctly and very tender

What a lovely place to visit. Friendly staff, seated straightaway in the Conservatory. We ordered the Roast Beef and Turkey with all the dressings. What a lovely lunch and the Sweets, delicious. We will return

We booked The Swan for an early Christmas Dinner. Greeted at the door by Chris, the landlord, and shown straight to our table. Drinks were ordered and delivered to our table - great service. Our food was the best. It was presented well, stayed hot and tasted great. Service by the staff was excellent. All our drinks were good - Chris keeps a very good barrel. Well deserving of the highest rating, The Swan should win awards. An excellent start to our festive season.

We had excellent customer service even though they were busy. We ate off the normal menu which was good value for money and great food.

Great meal again. Good value and friendly staff. The menu has a good variety of choice and the dining area was tastefully decorated and clean.

The Swan has quickly become our Favourite place to eat. Today was Our first Sunday lunch. It was Fabulous, Well cooked with Excellent Service. Puddings were Great too.

An interesting menu, a warm homey interior, service with a smile and steak cooked perfectly to order. Will definitely be go again soon to try the desert menu.

Excellent meal, service is always good with a pleasant atmosphere and competitively priced. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this pub for a lovely meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

Don't bother with food. The service is atroushus. 10 of us are seperatly. The playou area was good but thats about all. All in all the food was cold
