Food was lovely! Drinks a little over priced, no tiger beer which was on menu and white wine savignon Blanc was only by the bottle which was disappointing. Service charge added only 5 of us. Have been to this restaurant quite a few times food is good but lacks atmosphere.

Tempura Squid was a little disappointing not really a tempura batter in my opinion. But the soup was great and the crispy beef was excellent. Service was attentive and the Amstel decent. A good start to an evening out, certainly will return. If anything there was too much choice.

We were disappointed with the ambience and quality of the food. There are many restaurants around here that serve tastier and more authentic Thai food.Service was good.

Delicious and excellent food and attentive staff - what more could you ask for. The restaurant wasn't very busy but our table was booked for 6 pm. As we were leaving more diners were coming in to eat.

Superb food. Slow bringing everyone's food together, quite a big delay between 1st and last, only a table of 7. Great atmosphere, and friendly helpful staff. Will recommend and go back again.

Food was very good, service was ok but not great and this restaurant is very noisy which doesn't make for a great atmosphere. Probably best for Lunch rather than Dinner. Both Thailand and the Giggling Squid are better in my opinion

Excellent Service and amazing food. It was very straight forward to book. The staff were very friendly and as it was a lunchtime treat from work the speed in which the food was served was perfect.

Friendly attentive service. Wonderful tasty Thai food. We had the mixed starters then shared some mains and sticky rice. This is one of my favourite places to eat in Norwich right now.

The food here was excellent - I love Thai and I have a favourite restaurant to go to but this will be my new favourite! The food was hot very fresh and served quickly. the only disappointment was the service which lets it down. The service isn't as friendly or professional as other restaurants. We waited a long time after our mains for our bill. We sat in the front of the restaurant near the bar and our conversation was interrupted at least 3 times by the waitress making some form of cocktails in blenders which was so very loud. It was busy so is obviously very popular but could improve on the service front - but this isn't enough to deter us - the food will bring us back.

Lovely food and speedy service. We had the sharing platter to start, which was delicious. I had sweet and sour for main, which again was very tasty and just the right portion size. The restaurant had a good atmosphere.

Excellent service and nice food. Sadly served on tepid plates and went cold quickly- some plate / food warmers would make all the difference but will definitely revisit.

Superb all round. Service and food equally good. Waitress also took the effort to find my number and call me after leaving my bag in the restaurant once we'd left.

The food was very good if a little bit pricey. The waiting staff were excellent, there were surprisingly few diners for a peak Friday evening.

We highly recommend the Tamarind Tree in Norwich we have been several times and not been dissapointed, the quality of the food and the service we rate very highly, we have recommended and taken friends and they also agreed it is a lovely place to eat and would certainly go back, they also do a lunchtime special, which is such a good price especially if you have a family, we would say the Tamarind is the best Thai in Norwich and we have tried them all. The service was attentive with welcoming smiles. The food was delicious with authentic tastes. Creative decoration in the restaurant to give atmosphere. A little noisy on the evening but this was because of a large party dining. Well done to all the staff and chef.

Saturday night and the restaurant was busy. Lovely staff - very friendly and welcoming. Food was tasty and well-presented. Beers were very expensive - £7.50 per bottle! Not the best Thai restaurant in Norwich, but very nice.

The food was great but service was poor! However it will not put us off going again, we just hope we have a different waiter!
