Very pleasant staff and atmosphere but service was slow - staffing levels were obviously short. Food was middling and not good value - compares poorly with Baresca. Also our clothes smelt as though we'd spent the evening in a chippy. Condensation running down the windows is a bit off-putting.
Enjoyed an amazing meal as always. Friendly staff, good food and great atmosphere. Have already recommended to several friends. Have nothing but praise for this place.
Simple good quality food. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Only small negative was the restaurant was a bit to small for the number of tables
This is a lovely little place with great atmosphere, staff and service and the food is delicious. Highly recommend and can't wait to go again.
Unpretentious laid back atmosphere with the background music enabling a conversation without having to shout. (6 points for that alone.) Food was delicious with some interesting choices as well as the staple tapas available. The prices were reasonable enough to allow for experimentation without dreading a costly mistake. Wine not the cheapest but the lowest priced was very acceptable. The service was very good. Not too 'in your face' and the young woman that served us succeeded in getting the tapas choice my daughter specifically went for. Enjoyed the evening and would definitely go again.
The seared beef & chorizo and beans are both delicious! The service was excellent as well. I would save some space for dessert next time!
Beautiful restaurant, felt like you were in Spain. Food looked lovely and was well cooked but woefully under seasoned. Churrus, sadly, was just plain nasty.
my friend and I eat here every month or do and always have a good meal. We love the food and the atmosphere and the sangria is good too. :)
The Tapastry is a lovely little place in Hockley. The food is brilliant and reasonably priced and the atmosphere is fab. Quiet enough to chat but enough going on so you don't feel like you can't chat.
I love it here. The veggie choice is good and interesting. Something extra from your "normal tapas dishes. Prices are reasonable and it's a good night out.
Lovely food and really attentive service. We were the only people in there which was a surprise for a Saturday afternoon. I can highly recommend it, it should be packed.
I love the Tapastry. It's a lovely place to share food and have a jug or two of sangria. The restaurant is comfortable and has a nice feel about it. We eat here every month or so and have never had a bad meal. We will keep returning.
I love this place. The food is always good and the ambience is perfect. We always visit on a Friday night and it's a lovely place to share a few dishes and have a chat.
Me and my friend visit the Tapastry every month or so. Have just had another excellent meal. The veggie choice is good and the service excellent. Love the sangria too.
