Lovely evening, nice atmosphere and great food. Had the steak - beautifully done. Decent service and good range of choice of food, even vegetarian options

Very good service. We had non meat carvery and they made special veggie gravy for us. Staff were pleasant. Price was reasonable. They were quite busy

Very good fish and chips, although another party members was rather small. Friendly and welcoming. Good beer. Would recommend the pub generally. Looked to be a nice indoor conservatory too.

Good was excellent. However we had to wait 40 from ordering for a starter and spent over 2 hours for a 2 course meal. I realise it was peak time and busy but would hope for a more speedy eating experience next time. It won't put me off returning as food is very tasty.

First visit to the Tavern, very warm welcome from the staff and food was excellent especially the home made chips. Lovely surroundings and very cosy and traditional pub.

Went for a family meal with my father who is in a wheelchair. No disabled access so had to haul the chair and him up the entrance step! Friendly staff but very slow service. Waited 45 minutes for our order. When it came the food was ok but not special. It's not cheap so expected better. Very few meals to eat for someone who is gluten free. The landlord was extremely kind to my father and helped as much as he could. The actual place is lovely. Spacious and well decorated. Oh and check your bill - ours was wrong. We were charged for someone else's drinks!

It was excellent. The food was very good and the staff efficient and friendly. Only slight thing was we got charged for an extra beer that we did not have. They did take it straight off when we told them so it was fine. Will definitely go back.

Brilliant service, food arrived quickly and was of a very high standard. A cozy pub, with an excellent varied menu. Only annoyance was the noise from two babies, however that is not the fault of the establishment. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
