Arrived a bit early but the staff were very pleasant and very helpful and took it in their stride. Very tasty Sunday lunch - we had beef. One of the tastiest lunches we’ve had and we eat out quite a lot in the Sunderland / Durham area.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good choice of food on the menu which was served promptly and was tasty. Nice atmosphere and plenty of free car parking spaces.

Quite a nice restaurant. Staff very pleasant. Food disappointing. Starters were ok but the pasta dishes we ordered were bland and the Linguine dish we ordered came as spaghetti. Would not return.

Excellent happy hour meal with plenty of choice. The king prawns were absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful and The Three Horseshoes has a nice atmosphere.

Had a family Sunday lunch here today and the food was absolutely delicious! High quality ingredients cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and there is a nice outdoor play area for children. Only complaint is there was no draft beer on today for some reason. But even so will definitely eat there again.

Great surroundings, ambiance, food and service. Vety nicely decorated and warm and cosy on a cold evening.Its a hidden gem. Cannot wait to return. Nice searing area outside for a summers day.

Friendly staff .. very nice venue .. limited Sunday lunch menu but other times the menu is very good .. brisket of beef was very nice and the additional Yorkshire Pudding was a nice addition .. thanks

food and service very good...large family with young children seated next to us..unfortunately one child was very tired and having a tantrum...spoiled what would have otherwise been a nice evening out.

What can I say? great place, food excellent & staff very efficient. Well worth a return visit in the very near future. All the party enjoyed their evening very much.

The restaurant and pub have a comfortable atmosphere with open fires and good decoration. The staff were friendly, chatty and attentive, but not overly so. The food was tasty and well presented but could have been hotter. However, we had a good time and would recommend it.

First time visiting the restaurant. It was a set menu for mother’s day. Food was lovely and staff very friendly. Restaurant decor is nice too. I will defo be back to try the normal menu.

Food was pleasant and surroundings good. Staff were polite enough although I was disappointed that the waiter had obviously just been for a cigarette as you could smell the smoke from her clothes quite overpowering. The beef was the most tender I have had very nice

Our first visit to this restaurant and we were impressed. Very welcoming and helpful in recommending food choices. We had starters and mains, food was delicious and plentiful, no room for dessert! Booked a table for 6, arrived early table was ready. Staff were friendly, lovely atmosphere in restaurant. Food lovely and not too long a wait to order or between courses. Would recommend.

Absolutely disgusting.. As a family we attended for a 28th and 67th birthday... First appearance the bar was lovely.. layout was well done and modern...There were two members of staff to serve the bar and restaurant...we waited 2 1/2 hours for a starter... we were charged for wine we did not order...and when we decided to leave they brought the food out and said “we’ll its ready now...” his mannor was appalling but we decided to try the food and hopefully it would have been worth the wait... we were wrong... certainly not fresh and and the pasta dishes were very startchy which clearly were over cooked and had not been drained, a friend ordered the calamari, this was see through, tasteless and looked like it had been microwaved...very disappointed I would not rush back in a hurry...

Lovely decor,lovely staff and fabulous food - delightful experience will definitively be going again. The Sunday lunch is the best Sunday lunch I have had in any resteraunt well worth the price. Well done

Another excellent meal. Staff are always friendly and genuinely seen interested in us and are happy in their jobs. They look after my mother who is in a wheelchair with warmth and respect.

Beautiful meal and the staff can't do enough for you. They even said if we can do pick our meal quickly we can have the early menu. Would definitely go back.

Went for lunch with my daughter and grandchildren before going on to Metro Arena to see a show. Very handy location just off A19. Enjoyed our lunch and staff very friendly.

We love coming to this restaurant. The staff are excellent, always going out of their way to make sure everyone is happy and enjoying their meal. The food is always lovely and it's great to have a choice of other things on Sundays rather than just Sunday dinner. We loved the log fire and the Christmas music and will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time the food was exquisite we had the family with us which included our latest edition who is only 6 months old, she was unsettled when the main course arrived, the staff were marvellous offering to take care of her whilst my daughter-in-law ate then took her meal away and cooked a completely fresh one once the baby was sleeping what stars can’t waut to return for our Christmas Day Dinner 12/10 ⭐️

On a cold November evening we received a warm friendly welcome. A blazing fire and helpful staff shook off the chill. Great choice of food and wine served in a nice restaurant. The service was quick and unobtrusive, nice atmosphere. Good value for money and an enjoyable experience.

Nice place and food was mainly excellent (one of our two main courses was ok but a bit bland). Staff were really friendly but were a bit stretched as there were only two of them. Having said that, we didn't have to wait over long for anything. Overall, a very enjoyable meal at a reasonable price. We would return and recommend to anyone.

Four of us went last night to celebrate a birthday, we all enjoyed ourselves. Atmosphere was lovely and relaxing, the decor has some nice Italian touches, the food was very tasty, very well presented and excellent value. The staff were very attentive and fun. This was my second visit and I'm looking forward to my third.

Good food and service, will go back again. Had the Sunday lunch at 16.30 and it was nice and quiet maybe try something of the main menu for an evening out.
