Had very nice evening. The al fresco dining area has been well setup.
Booked Sunday Lunch, Gravy very watery and tasteless, potatoes very rubbery not freshly cooked, good service though. Expensive for what it was.
Excellent service from the staff. Would go back there for sure
Great opening night drinks and food at the Tuns! Great atmosphere and fabulous service!
The new menu is very good and food was delicious.
Lovely cosy pub, great food. A couple of minor issues with one of the parties meals which the staff rectified immediately and very professionally! Very happy with the whole experience 😊
The service was great. The menu item we wanted wasn't available, but they improvised very courteously, and looked after us so well- I will definitely be booking again. Good ambiance And lighting, and excellent C19 distancing. Highly recommended.
Lovely Sunday lunch. Classic Sunday lunch, done well (although the salsa verde instead of mint sauce for lamb was a lovely modern twist). Only downside was being asked to vacate our table, when not made aware of time limit at time of booking or on arrival. Pub did accommodate our request to stay however
Sensational food, prompt and attentive service, beautiful venue. Really can’t fault it.
Great food and atmosphere with lovely service, will be returning
Smallish menu which covered all tastes. Great food, atmosphere and service.
It been many years since we had visited the Three Tuns but the atmosphere was great and the fish stew and fish and chips were amazing. The staff were very helpful and were smiling which was a bonus! The only negative thing I would say was the music being loud. Mum wears hearing aids and had to take them out as background noise meant we couldn't really have a conversation. We booked for 19.00 and it was very busy so we will book an earlier time when we go again.
Lovely food, atmosphere and staff. Perfect location in the Town Square
Had a beautiful fish and chips lunch at the three Tuns on the 24/7/2020 . Staff so friendly and adhered to Covid -19 restrictions. Sat in the courtyard on a beautiful sunny day . So recommend as when visiting Henley always eat at the Three Tuns xx
We love coming here for a cosy Sunday lunch. Warm fires, excellent roast and attentive service. Reluctant to spend the word about this little gem!
It is such a lovely place and the staff are amazing
Very good Sunday roast. Great service. Will definitely be back
Good service and quality food in a lovely cosy dining room.
Excellent food and warm friendly service - real fire too!
Really get what a pub of this type should be. Really well done guys
Nice characterful pub with a very friendly team of staff. We enjoyed our meal.
The staff really took care of us and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back
love it at the three tuns, fave place in henley so far
Great food and quick service. Very reasonable price-wise too. No complaints!
Love the place. This is the 4th time I have had the mussels there and did not disappoint. Great service. Great value and will be back. Good job.
Unfortunately, I had the Special, which was supposed to be Gammon, egg and chips, but it was simply cold sliced ham. The fish stew was nearly all Mussels, with very little fish, and the Bread and Butter pudding was very hard. It was meant to come with a Fruit Compote, but instead it was a small bowl of cut up strawberries and raspberries. Everything else in our party of three was excellent.
Fantastic food. Intimate dining experience. Would definitely recommend and return.
Great old pub, very friendly staff, and fabulous food, best in Henley! A really enjoyable leisurely lunch.
Excellent food, helpful staff and lovely old building. Thank you
Great food, great staff, great pub. Not much more I can say!
we really enjoyed our first visit and will be back
Based on the menu on the website I was very excited to be eating at the pub. The reality was very different as not one dish on the website main menu was actually on the real main menu. Hugely disappointing. The food was still very good, and at restaurant quality, albeit rather slow in coming.
Great menu. Fantastic service. Best food in Henley on Thames.
Best roast lamb I’ve ever had and great wine. Highly recommended
Went here with the kids as part of wife's 40th celebrations. Fantastic Sunday roast, as evidenced by 5 clean plates and happy smiles all round. We felt well looked after too. Really good.
Nice meal, nice atmosphere. We will definitely go back again.
Delicious roasts and desserts. Lovely pub. Would highly recommend here.
good restaurant for Sunday lunch. It was surprisingly quiet but I suspect this was just because it had only just opened - hopefully more people have discovered it now!
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight. Beautifully cooked and presented food in an atmospheric setting. An excellent choice to make. We’ll be back!
Poor choice on menu. Empty in restaurant. Meals nothing special. Very disappointed
We moved tables due to an unruly child sitting on next table. Our food was then delivered to another couple not us they actually sent it back as it was cold. Eventually we got ours this was warm but by this time I was starving so ate it. Very embarrassed waiter gave my partner a complimentary eton mess. Cost is quite high so should be served hot. Food was tasty just cold. We have been told previously no dogs allowed in restaurant only front bar well today couple allowed in restaurant with dog as apparently they are friends of the owners. Not good.
Manager was excellent, staff friendly and efficient. Food was top notch. Only criticism was a little bit slow but then it was a Sunday and restaurant was rammed. Definitely will go back.
The waiter was marvellous. Super service from the moment we arrived. We had requested a table in the bar which hadn’t been acknowledged however the waiter was quick to rearrange tables to accommodate us. There was a huge delay of service between courses (the main course was served about 40 minutes after our first course). When it finally did arrive, two courses of sea bass were uncooked. When we returned this to the kitchen they did take them off our bill but were happy to let my daughter go without a main course. Incredible! Such a shame to have to accept this standard of cuisine on a special occasion. We have eaten here before and had the luck to be served good food. Tonight the food was very poor and we are so disappointed as we chose to eat at the three tuns to celebrate a special occasion with friends and family. However poor the standard of food was, the service was super.
Poor food. Fish oily and a small portion, chips dry
Lovely place to eat and staff very friendly, the boat shed for us all was just perfect
Food was great, surroundings were oldie world style and service was great, would go again without a doubt.
Had a very enjoyable experience, with family who were visiting us for a few days, perfect for the occasion.
Very enjoyable meal with decent service. Would definitely repeat, nice courtyard
The service was excellent. The place was busy with a good atmosphere
We spent a very cosy evening there, quiet but lively at the same time, the diner room and atmosphere is very typical of an ancient pub. The staff was always helpful and kind. The food was excellent and very fresh. Exactly what we were looking for.
