The Townhouse - Petersfield

I love this place. The atmosphere is great, the food is always good and the staff are always pleasant and friendly. This is absolutely the best place for Sunday lunch in Petersfield. Best of all it’s dog friendly so my fur baby can come too.

there has sadly been a recent deterioration in the quality and range of food available, at what used to be one of the nicest places to lunch in Petersfield.

This is the nicest atmosphere you could wish for in a pub/cafe, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is great and not too expensive. I can’t think of a better place in the area!

Second visit in the last couple of months and another great meal! All four of us enjoyed good sized portions and great cooking. Well priced wine and good beer choice... Friendly staff, what's not to like? I will be back! Shame we don't live nearer...

We were treated to this meal so cannot make any comment as to value for money. We only had one course but we had the red mullet and fish cakes and they were both delicious

Very helpful friendly staff, a great night with fantastic food, they could not of been more helpful. Staff even called me 2 days before to confirm that they could cater for a gluten free dinner

Fabulous food and service great but bar ran out of Bacardi 🙄which was a real shame, more focused on gin unfortunately which I don’t drink

I took my grandson out to lunch, we enjoyed sitting at the window table. Service very friendly , delicious lunch an interesting combination of flavours.

The menu was typical of a good pub/bar, very good and plentiful salads although the leaves were a bit gritty. Service was excellent and most helpful.

Fantast Breakfast well worth every penny. Nice warm welcome plus friendly service. Very clean and tidy with a brilliant garden to enjoy in the sunshine.

Arrived with our Labrador Max and got a very friendly welcome. We all had lunch from a varied menu and enjoyed it very much,also the bonus was a good selection of beers.

Amazing food and very friendly owner. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable. The selection of Gin and mixes are excellent as well. Simply awesome!

Good and plentiful lunch. The club sandwich was enormous and my only negative comment would be that I would have preferred the cheese to have been melted rather than served uncooked but best chips I have tasted for a long time. Tried two excellent real ales also so happy days and at £12.50 a head very good value.

Had a bit of a wait for the order to be taken but the rest was very good, friendly staff, clean, food very good and a lot of it, real ales in good nick. Limited menu, but tbh I prefer that and we all had something different that was very good. Good ambience, busy without being overcrowded - though it was a Weds lunchtime. £49 for 3 lunch meals + 2 medium wines and 1.5 beers.

The staff were excellent, friendly and efficient on a busy day with a table of 6 loud and slightly over excited 60 somethings.....charming young man served us and appeared to be serving everyone at the bar as well.

A wonderful roast dinner perfect for Sunday lunch and enjoyed by all. Thanks everyone. Washed down with some great beer / wine or just a simple coffee.

The breakfast we had was fantastic! My husband had the full English and I had eggs benedict. Great service and atmosphere too. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
