GF food was good, but ore variety would have been better. Others in the party had steak and burger, both of them were very pleased with their meals

We had booked a table for food. However we were put off eating purely based on the service. The bar lady was rude, unfriendly, abrupt and did not make us feel at all welcome.

Eaten here a few times. Service and food are pretty good but the lady behind the bar always seems so grumpy

Starters were lovely. Main meals were good except for a well done steak in the mixed grill, it was very tough but they cooked a fresh steak which was very tender.

Great tasting, hot fresh food. Unfortunately was missing sauces from all roast dinners. (Mint sauce with the lamb and apple sauce with both roast pork). We were also missing 1 egg from the sausage, egg and chips meal, which was rectified.

Had a great lunch here on May Day bank holiday. Food was excellent (you must try the 9.95 sharing platter, enough starter for 4 of us) and the young lady and young man serving were really nice and helpful. Loved it.

Totally useless, the Two Brewers had not been notified and were not serving good. Thanks for nothing. No chance of using you again. Not in the least impressed.

It is some 52 years since I last visited and it hadn't changed much except they no longer sell home made wine! The dining room was pretty basic but this was more than offset by the quality and quantity of food, We both had fish & chips and even now, some 19 hours later, I still feel full such was the quality that I didn't want to leave anything. Everything was extremely good value and, judging by other peoples choices, looked extremely appetising. I shall definitely return (a bit sooner than another 52 years!).

Lovely food and friendly service and staff. Always a pleasure. Refreshingly different from the big chain pub/restaurants. Personal service and time to chat. Go visit, you won't regret it.

Very good value for money. We had a delicious traditional Sunday lunch with generous portion sizes and a jug of extra gravy. The meals arrived promptly and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
