When we say these four words: The Underground Gin Society – what do you think? We’d hedge our bets that you’re thinking of an intimate, dimly lit, stylish bar, packed full of quality of gins and other, similar tipples. Yes? Splendid. Because that’s exactly what you can expect from this bar in the very heart of Liverpool. Set on Castle Street and just a stone’s throw from James Street train station, The Underground Gin Society is a bar to behold. Of course there are countless types of gin waiting to be paired with some tonic, ice and a slice, but there’s also a great selection of craft cocktails and boutique beers. This is an extremely popular Liverpool bar, so we’d suggest booking a table in advance.
Amazing, staff were so helpful to helping me , after the 3rd time maybe 4th on choosing a drink hahahaha but were very polite and personal making sure everything wS good, l I can say to anyone is go. One negative is no card payments but if that’s all I can say , everything else is perfect
Service was appalling. We were told to take a seat in our booth and after waiting 15 minutes and nobody came over to ask what we would like to drink we walked out. I would also add the venue was very cold and the booth table was dirty.
Lovely drinks - nice variety and some interesting ones on there including the great classics, lovely guys behind the bar, nice music and good atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!
