Very good sunday roast the local beer was amazing, service could improve have one or two more waiters would solve the problem, the pub itself is very cosy and welcoming.

Food was excellent and staff couldn't do enough for my family of four. Really friendly, accommodating and efficient. We will be back.

Great vibe, great drinks, the summer barbecue menu is a bit limited

The refurb has added space and light at the back. In the hot weather with the concertina doors wide open it felt like we were abroad for the afternoon. Good beer and excellent staff too.

Very good food and good service. The waitress worked very hard but she worked for two and could have done with an assistant. Pricey for a pub - even for the gastro variety - but wow the scallops, the duck breast starters, the sticky toffee pudding...!!!

Nice food, good beer, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, what's not to like. I would recommend The Vanburgh to anyone looking for somewhere slightly off the beaten track in Greenwich.

The Vanbrugh is indeed a best-kept Greenwich secret. Always a relaxing place to be, charming staff and good food. Weekday lunches and dinners a particular treat.

Lovely meal, food very nice. Side dishes a little over priced, service very good. Open kitchen to the restaurant quite noisy, we were the only diners so a bit quiet. The music was a little too dancy at times. I would go back.

We live just outside the neighborhood and had heard so much about The Vanbrugh. We were not disappointed. Possibly only disappointed that we dont't live a bit closer! Very cozy pub with different "spaces" for different purposes. Food and service was very good.

Lovely food, good atmosphere, attentive staff, lovely Sunday lunch experience as usual.

Had lunch on Easter Sunday, food was delicious and lovely staff, would highly recommend and will definitely return when next in the area. I give them 10/10!

Lovely as always, peaceful and food was amazing always is! I enjoyed having a peaceful child free lunch with my husband while kids at school, still best kept secret around!

Great food, great service, always a pleasure to go to the Vanbrugh

There was an anniversary party in the same room, so everybody was standing up while we were eating. A bit annoying and noisy. The food wasn't as good as previous visits. Overall I was quite disappointed.

Food simply amazing (tad pricey for the beef, but it was seriously good). Not too busy or noisy (even though pub was busy with rugby on), and service was first class. No complaints at all.

Very good roast, allowed us to move to watch football.

Beautiful pub warm and friendly. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Food was gorgeous I would say top quality and value for money. Would come back without a second thought.

We loved the scallops! The Mr enjoyed his fish & chips and youngest child liked her pasta penne, but kids lamb was very chewy and 3 small pieces, roast potatoes bit hard but oldest child still ate the lot lol l

The food was excellent and service and welcome great also. First time here. Two lots of competing music started to grate after a while, otherwise would been top-rating. Nonetheless, excellent and will go back.
