Authentic Indian food in Droxford town centre is truly at home at The White Horse Inn on South Hill... The exquisite food at this restaurant is prepared by Darwan Ram, a renowned chef who has worked in various well-known Indian restaurants in London’s West End, and his expertise shows all the way from the perfect presentation to the inventive flavours in the dishes on the menu at The White Horse. This restaurant also doubles as a country pub with ales and beers on tap, and a roaring open fire to warm you up. Our advice? Book a table and get in here for a bangin’ biryani, balti or some balti aloo!
Food great as normal and fast service. Always very friendly and the chief will customise your curry if required. This is also a pub so can get busy at times and it is worth booking your table.
I still consider this the best place to get a curry in Hampshire. All food fresh and made to order so they will cater for your wishes should you want it hotter or with ginger in my case. The staff are very helpful and the old pub setting is great. Have a look at the well inside the gents (it is sealed with a glass lid). I have taken lots of friends and relatives there and always the food is great what more can I say.
Nice, quiet location and appealing building make a good start. Great food and good beer continue the good impression. Very friendly and accommodating staff ensure a lovely experience. Definitely worth trying and then returning to! We've already been back!
Warm welcoming atmosphere. Efficient service and tasty flavoursome, good value meal. The would thoroughly recommend this place to friends and family and look forward to returning.
Indian food always good but no real ale to drink...only London Pride...lol! Would recommend The White Horse if you like home cooked Indian food. Been there many times and always had a nice meal.
Lovely food, atmosphere and service. We come here as it’s staggering distance from home. Curries are always great, recommend tandoori salmon and jumbo prawns. Recently had a refurb which didn’t extend to the loos :(
Lovely atmosphere Curry a little rich ...but nice Would visit again but try English food next time Definitely need to book ...busy even in the week
a rushed experience - asked for still tap water - charged for a bottle £3.50, charged for double spirits not ordered & then a 10% service charge was added ☹️
