First time here and pleasantly surprised. Disided to have a meal. Had the steak, cooked to perfection. Could have done with a few mushrooms. Staff pleasent

Excellent service, great food, and good value for money. The pub has a great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming. Overall, a pleasant experience. Staff were attentive, would definitely go again.

Fabulous menu, a large range to cater for everyone. Athe children’s menu is very good. The food is beautifully made. The staff are very attentive, and helpful with small children.

Excellent service. Menu and wine list eclectic. Food good but portions too large! Good selection of wines by the glass with a choice of 3 sizes.

We enjoyed our visits. Lovely tasty food, great drinks and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Bowl for starter stone cold and had to be sent back. Pizza delicious but chocolate brownie burnt and dry. Over cooked chocolate cake not a brownie unusual as normally lovely. New gins yummy!

We both really enjoyed our evening in the white horse very much so! The food was delicious and very tasty! And the nice refreshing pints went down a treat!

Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food is good value for the price. Had a few issues with service/order but these were corrected promptly and apology offered.Can't fault the place and will go back.

Excellent food and service as always. Also the inclusion of new dishes on the spring menu help to provide a wealth of options. Much recommended.

Had one main course sent back because it was not hot enough, when it returned there was a component missing. Other dish ok but had to wait with it on the table so that it wasn’t finished before the returned dish reappeared.

Good atmosphere with a happy buzz , more customers than we expected mid week. Polite and efficient staff . Good choice of menu. Hot and delicious food.

Great food and service Table wasn’t ready when we arrived though and were offered a table for 2 instead with a 3rd chair as there were 3 of us.

Service was great and price was good. Food was nice but not as good as last time we went but will go back again as it might have just been a one off

Booked for 3, by 3.20 the table was not ready. When asked I was told they were getting the table ready which they weren't as I could see the table. An apology was not offered until we had ordered at 3.45 and no discount was offered for the wait. Food took a long time and had to order a glass of wine three times before it actually came. Would not recommend

Really gorgeous meal. I had the chicken Kiev which was gorgeous, one had gammon steak and one the burger - just lovely. Beautiful setting and food - go here!!! Xx

Unfortunately had to wait for our table and service was also quite slow. Food good with very generous portion sizes but not the tastiest Sunday roast-meats were quite tough although this could be because we were quite late to eat.

Tasty vegetarian roast option that is flavorful and filling that does not feel like an afterthought menu offering. I enjoyed the olives and bread starter but warming the bread would have been a nice touch.

Good pub food with efficient service and friendly staff. Waiting time was kept to a minimum. Very enjoyable food and service. Prices are very reasonable. Good value.

Went here for the first time for son and daughters birthday.....food was really great...all six of us had something different and we all thought the food was amazing....will definitely come again....

Went for Sunday lunch, the roast lamb was excellent. Efficient service and nice atmosphere. Main course could have been hotter for me but I do like everything extra hot. All in all very enjoyable.

Just had a Sunday lunch,roast beef and can honestly say it was at best poor the meat was so tough you could not cut it. Have never seen so much fat and grissel on meat.Veg undercooked, so so disappointed.

Love it here, always fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and the staff are very polite and friendly. We come here at least once a month and the menu has a great choice.

Our second visit here for a Sunday roast. Good and friendly service, good choice of roasts and nice food well presented, good wine too. Reasonably priced.

Lovely salads for lunch plus one of us had the fish finger sandwich and enjoyed that. Service was good but a little slow which didn't leave me enough time to have a dessert.

The service was very slow and average. We had to ask for a glass for sparkling mineral water. The waitress was surprised that I wouldn't drink it out of the bottle! The food service was slow and although tasty, my pie was burnt. The children's food was ok. The dessert order was 'lost' and so arrived 40mins later. I used to love this pub, really disappointed.

I have been to the White Horse on several occasions and been pleased with the service and food, but not on this visit. The service was extremely slow. From arrival at 7:00pm until the time we received our suite took in excess of two and a half hours. The starters and main courses were more than satisfactory when they finally arrived. When the suite arrived it bore little relationship to its description as an eton mess. Each portion contained little or no meringue. The noise spilling over from other areas was excessive and uncomfortably loud. We complained at the time and the eton mess was removed from the bill along with a further reduction in the final bill. However, it may be some time until we return unless we hear that the problems that we encoutered have been rectified.

Very good. No complaints. Salad was nicely seasoned / very tasty. Mussels perfectly cooked but NOT ENOUGH on the plate. Meat was very tasty ans portion adequate.

Great service and food as always. Was there for the wine tasting evening. Was nice to go do something different and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lovely eveing spent at the white horse. Prompt service nice food and friendly staff. It's nicer to eat in the restaurant rather than the bar side. Will definitely be visiting here again.
