Slightly overshadowed by the cuisine of its bigger neighbours India and China, Nepalese cuisine is hard to come by in the North of England, but down on Goodramgate in York City Centre it has its time to shine. The Yak and Yeti Gurkha Restaurant is decorated in a traditional Nepalese style, and it has close links to the Gurkha Signal Squadron based at York’s Imphal Barracks.
