Enjoyed a burger here. Menu is limited and definitely more “pub food” than restaurant. But friendly, cosy atmosphere and will go again!

Very disappointing and I won't be recommending it to my friends. The menu was very boring.

The staff were warm & friendly & could not do enough to accommodate us. The quality, taste & presentation of the food was excellent. However, the menu was slightly lacking in variety in terms of choices. We will return.

A good pub, staff friendly. The menu needs a bigger variety

Overall, average experience. Locals seem to dominate the place. Service was fine but not overly friendly. Bar area cosy with lovely open fire. Nice place for a drink. Food was ok but slightly over priced for what it was. Tagliatelle was rather mushy and dry. Would visit again and give it another chance!

This is the sort of pub with food that every village wishes it could have. Pleasant and comfortable dining space close to the bar. A varied menu, giving a good choice of dishes at each stage. We both went for the pie of the day - today it was spiced lamb. Proper short crust pastry enclosing tasty meat, where the spiciness built up slowly. The main course was pretty substantial on its own , but we did indulge ourselves with a scoop each from the ice cream selection. Reasonable selection of wines, including some by the glass. 3 or 4 real ales on tap, but not sampled, as I was driving!

Good pub. Menu a bit small. Food good. Probs a couple of £ over priced but up my street for a pub
