Combining the best of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Greek under one roof on Bury New Road, Ti Amo in Prestwich is about as perfect a spot for tasting tapas as you could imagine in Greater Manchester. Ti Amo is elegant and the food is exquisite, but this is not some stuffy European haute-cuisine restaurant. Rather, Ti Amo is a family-run, family-friendly place that could just as easily suit an engagement dinner as a casual after-work drink. Seafood is carefully selected every day from the market so that’s a real star at Ti Amo – if you get the chance, don’t miss the Italian-style pan-fried seabass, creamy mussels in white wine or juicy grilled king prawns in garlic with watercress. You don’t, however, need to be a seafood lover, nor even be looking for tapas dining, to make the most of this European gem in Prestwich, because Ti Amo has a wide range of meat and vegetarian (plus of course more seafood) main meals as well as decadent desserts on offer.
Great place, friendly service. A totally relaxed atmosphere, and no rushing from one course to the next. The food, although it was a set menu for Valentine's Day, was excellent if a bit limited. I highly recommend this restaurant, as it ticked all the right boxes for me.
Great food and service. Surprised our party of 12 were the only people in there at Sunday lunchtime. Good value too. Only been there for evening meals before. Can highly recommend.
Fabulous food and friendly service. Could not fault it. I would not hesitate in recommending Ti Amo to anyone looking for a great meal in Prestwich.
