Fresh food and nice service. The atmosphere is peaceful too. It is a great place to enjoy a Friday night dinner with a good friend.

The seafood platter was completely over priced. £50 for 2 people but the portions were tiny and I was still hungry afterwards and ordered another plate of food- and I don't have a huge appetite. I wouldn't recommend it- very over priced.

Fantastic, authentic Peruvian food (we had a Peruvian in our party and she confirmed it!) including Causa, Ceviche, Tiraditos, Aji de Gallina...it was excellent. The Buffet for 21 pounds a head is the best deal as you get to try everything on offer. The Jug of Pisco Sour for 6 people was amazing and very good value. As we were celebrating three birthdays they were also very nice letting us sing Happy Birthday with our own cake and the staff joined in as well! We will be coming back to Tierra Peru!

I am from Peru and I have been trying to find an authentic Peruvian restaurant in London. This is the only Peruvian restaurant that comes close to actual Peruvian food. It is unfortunate that the restaurant is not well known but trust me you will have a good time. I decided to go for the tasting platter but I wanted to change one dish inside it. The manager came to see us and without any hesitation agreed to the change to the dishes that I wanted. The service was excellent ( the waiter was very nice). 6 Out of the 7 dishes that I tried were excellent. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Small but cosy restaurant located in Islington. Good traditional Peruvian food accompanied by South American wines (child, Argentina, Peru etc). Average prices, spent 63£ on a dinner for two with main course, dessert and bottle or red wine.

Best Pisco Sours in London - if you go to the restaurant with friends, order a jug. The sharing platters are excellent way to try different Peruvian dishes from meat to fish. And finish your dinner with Inca Coffee, that is absolutely delicious!

Nice venue with nice food. We tried one of the platter dishes which provided us with a variety of plates, it was well priced and was more than sufficient for 2.

Good food, and price. I chose the weekend all you can eat buffet, which was a good option considering it had lots of different dishes to try. I advise to make a reservation before going, because it's small place.

There are three great sharing platters of tapas for starters to choose from. The main courses are all unusual, but very tasty and well presented dishes. The cocktails are a good selection of Latin American flavours. The service is friendly and attentive.

It is not out first time here and as usual the food was very good! Loved the Quinoto! Waitress was very amiable even though we lingered around the table way past the closing time! Will keep on returning and recommending!

Waited 20min for drinks and about 35min for starters. Overall very bland, no seasoning, nothing special about the food. Could have made better food at home. Good quality steak though and friendly waiters. Small portions too which you wouldn't expect. Atmosphere anything but South American... Would not recommend

Steak was way overcooked and service was very slow. I think its quite expensive for what it is. They managed to throw away my leftovers meant for a doggy bag, so they ended up cooking another meal for me to take away, which is great. The ceviche is amazing, but dont order steak.

Nice restaurant, good food. Just didn't make me go "wow!" Still, for an introduction to Peruvian cuisine, it WAS a good experience. Staff were also very attentive and helpful with navigating the unknown menu.

Very tasty dishes! The only problem is that they don't tell you that you need to pay for water when they ask you if you want some.

The food quality was lower than in the past. Lacks in service quality (vs price) although the staff is very nice and friendly. I would probably suggest the buffet rather than a la carte.

The food was very bad, the aji de gallina had pieces of bread something is nothing like the authentic one, carapulcra with no meat and the limonada was mixed with juice from a box and the waiter told us it was homemade, very dissapointed. The sevice poor and the waitress took too long to serve us.

Food was good but too rich and a bit pricey for what you get so I don't think we'd go again. Also, I ordered a duck confit and we were very sure that it was chicken -- by the taste, texture and flavour of it. It was a delicious chicken confit if anything. Service was great!

Nos gustó la comida. Preferimos la comida peruana más tradicional y no como lo hacen en lima ( covent garden ). Sin embargo, no es lo mismo que comer en casa.
