Tiger Tiger Manchester is something of a flagship for this UK-wide family of clubs. Inside, there are no less than eight bars, rooms, and party zones, each with a distinct theme and mood. It all begins in the Tiger Bar, a stylish and laid-back start to your adventure in Tiger Tiger’s urban jungle. Looking for the VIP treatment? Book a spot along the long wooden bar and be upgraded to VIT (Very Important Tiger) status. The White Room (remember the KLF?) is a minimalistic rave space that gives landlocked punters a sample of Ibiza, pumping out classic Balearic tunes all night long. Again, book a plush booth and get table service and your favourite spirits by the bottle – very VIT indeed. The Opal Bar offers glamour and opulence in equal measure, and its large private booths are perfect for big groups or functions. The Raffles Bar takes its name from the British colonial founder of Singapore, and its cues from the Singaporean bar of the same name, where the infamous Singapore Sling was invented. It’s an elegant spot with regular appearances by celebs, DJs, and live dance acts that’s open a little earlier than the other bars and party areas – perfect to kick start your evening.

As if all this wasn’t enough already, Tiger Tiger Manchester’s Kaz Bar takes you further on your globally themed party voyage, to a Moroccan casbah-themed zone that again is perfect for hire in its entirety for a big bash, or in part – its multiple, low-lit booths are perfect for a languorous rendezvous. And remember, eating and interactivity are at the heart of the Tiger Tiger Manchester experience. This club – more like a self-contained entertainment universe – has some of the best eats you’ll find in The Printworks, courtesy of The Tiger Grill. Open from lunchtime until late, this is where VITs go to power up and refuel before hitting the karaoke bar Lucky Voice, or the roller-girl and disco nightclub zone of Groovy Wonderland. All of Tiger Tiger Manchester’s many zones, somehow crammed into Withy Grove’s The Printworks complex, can be booked out, and we recommend doing so.
