Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. Glasgow may be more renowned for the Barras than its barrios, but at Tinto Tapas on Hyndland Street in the West End, you can experience a taste of Spanish cuisine in the Dear Green Place. Its location is enviable – right by Kelvinhall subway and a short hop from Partick railway station – and its welcome is as warm as an afternoon by the pool in Benidorm. The menu features all the favourites beloved of anyone who’s ever had the pleasures of the back streets of Barcelona, so what are you waiting for? Gather up your amigos and dander on down to the Costa del Clyde for a superb Spanish supper.
Was a wonderful place to visit on holiday with my sister. Food and service was amazing. Now I know why it’s her favourite
Really enjoyed our meal. Lovely staff. Food was authentic, fresh and very tasty. Would happily recommend. Would give Café Andaluz a run for it's money.
Service was average and it wasnt busy. We ordered several starters and one paella for 4. Paella was nice the starters were not. Bland, tasteless a d a couple tasted like they were just defrosted. Been to one of their sister restaurants and it was a lot better!
A splash of Spanish sun is sometimes necessary in the often grey climes of Glasgow, and at Tinto Tapas, you can be sure of finding one. Their tapas menu is among the finest in Glasgow, and their drinks list is packed with wines guaranteed to get your night out rioja-ing and rolling. If you bring enough folk with you – and, if you’ve ever had tapas, you’ll know that a large group is the way to go, amigo – you can get the full spread of Spanish favourites on your trip to Hyndland Street in Glasgow’s West End.
Of course, when feeding a large group, it can be hard to please everyone, but at Tinto Tapas, the Spanish small plates selection is guaranteed to have something to suit all tastes. Seafood specialists will love the range of prawn, squid, hake and cod options – as well as, of course, the paella – and landlubbers will appreciate the meat and chicken tapas selection. That isn’t to forget the vegetarians either; they’ll be well-served by the patatas bravas, the Spanish omelette or any of the other choices on the extensive meat-free menu. All we can say is that if you’re planning a party, or looking for a place to start off your West End night out, then you will struggle to do better than this Hyndland Street tapas bar – so book your table now and head on out to the West End.
