Nice atmosphere, mediocre food. Waiting staff were lovely and buzzy vibe. Food was quite bland and unimaginative. My curry was watery and bread was toasted to the point of almost being burnt. Perhaps we were there on a bad day.

All the staff were friendly and genuine. Small but cosy venue. Menu was simple and easy to chose from. Beautiful bottle of red wine. So nice to know you are eating organic and at a good price too! I am personally vegan and had plenty options for me although I had to ask the waitress to make sure, as it was highlighted. Highly reccomend this place!

It was nice, but could be better. Limited, basic breakfast options that lack pizzazz. The food could definitely be more interesting! It's a pretty space and has potential.

£23 Billion pounds / 18 Million tonnes of edible food ends up in UK landfill sites each year......Tiny Leaf in London is trying to normalize the zero waste concept. They take organic produce that would otherwise be thrown out from suppliers such as Abel and Cole (cosmetically defective, past the sale by date), and turn it into yummy, innovative vegetarian dishes. I loved the food and the restaurant ambience was great, service super friendly. All their booze is organic too. Highly recommend checking them out.

Excellent staff ambience and food. Made a reservation the following week to take guests in town. Will be excited to visit them when they move into their permanent space. A great find and worth the visit even though we live across town.

It's a lovely small restaurant in a central Notting Hill/Portobello location. The food we had was simple but very tasty. The service was good without you as the customer feeling rushed or pressurised to make menu decisions or to finish eating quickly.

Very nice place - great food and really friendly staff. Great place for a brunch, good coffee, good selection of vegetarian food options. Highly recommended.

This was the most disappointing dinner experience I have ever had in London (actually in my life). The menu is a rather small one to choose from with different daily options depending on seasonality, which is a good concept if you have capable chefs that know how actually translate the idea and offer tasteful meals. However, the OVERPRICED food is an absolute joke and we all left hungry, the portions are tiny and food is bland. I had the so-called “curry” consisting of cold chickpeas in a not definable sauce with 2 slices of carrots, 5 peas and absolutely nothing else. The one and only good thing is that they provide pepper and salt, as they don’t seem to season their food at all. You pay for a simple apple juice 4.50 and around 10.00 for a detox cocktail, mains are between 12.00 – 15.00. Avoid this place at all costs; there are plenty of lovely places in Notting Hill and any other restaurant in London would be less of a disappointment. Very sad Friday evening…

Worst place I've ever been. We booked a table for 2 @ 9 pm, we arrived there on time. A guy, probably the manager in charge that evening got our drinks order, my partner went for a tiny leaf coktail, nothing wrong with it, and I asked for an organic lager instead I got a pale ale despite me asking the manager if the beer I was going for was lager and him without even looking at me confirmed that it was. After that none of the front of house staff came even close to our table to get our food order, the restaurant wasn't busy at all and after 25 mins the manager girl friend came along, she was seating next to us. The lovely manager took a seat next to here, they started chatting, kissing and we were literally less then a meter from them but no one could get our food order. After 45 minutes with no drinks, no food, manager gone and the rest of the staff not even aware of our presence, me and my partner decided to pay the drinks and leave. A weitress tried to apologise and wanted to give us the drinks for free. We paid anyway and told here that not only was the worst restaurant experience ever but their behaviour was disrespectful. I think this restaurant is relatively new and if they want to keep it open they should get rid of the existing front of house staff and repace it with people with a minimum of experience, that care about their job and more importantly with bit of common sense and respect for paying customer. I would never go back there and I would never reccommend this place.

The menu was a little on the small side with a lack in variety of dishes but overall it was a good inexpensive lunch -

Overpriced food. The main course was horrible and tasteless and the white wine tasted like apple juice?! Shocked that the bill could come to just under £100 for two people!!

Some dishes were better than others but the service was awful. Forgot one persons order (which they didn't charge for but that s not really the point). Never had to stand up so much in a restaurant as there was no service. Had to chase up the missing dish twice even though the waitress had said it would be a minute. She clearly hadn't followed up so 15 mins later I m asking where is it and then it transpires no order had been put through. No one refilled our water jug. Then they wanted to charge £14 for serving us our own birthday cake- which was not mentioned when I d called to arrange. I was happy for them to make a cake but they couldn't and said I could bring my own behave never been charged for bringing my own birthday cake. Thankfully we had good company so it was a nice 50th birthday in spite of tiny leaf.

Friendly service, delicious food, convivial atmosphere. Reasonably priced, though not cheap. Zero waste is a bonus. Next time I will leave room for the puddings...

Decided to have dinner here to celebrate Earth Hour and wasn't disappointed at all! The food was amazing, especially enjoyed the seasonal, ever changing menu, great atmosphere and all for a great cause - to minimise food wastage.

There are not many options and while the restaurant is a specialist in organic food it is not exactly well equipped for people with dietary restrictions. Also, the service was rather spotty even though the restaurant was half empty.

The freshest and tastiest vegetarian food ever! Great atmosphere too. An almost-perfect experience (except for a shaky organisation in service... although the waitress was super nice - and the cocktails were on the house as they unfortunately arrived after our appetizers). I'll definitely be going back!

Food, service and surrounds were all a delight. A great concept wonderfully executed. So good to see this treatment of what would otherwise be wasted produce put to such good use. Some nice creative touches, quality produce and solid plant based favourites made our visit a joy. to Definitely a quality addition to plant based dining with a clear conscious consumption business model. Look forward to returning :)

Tiny Leaf was a great experience, the atmosphere was perfect - and the food was divine. We tried different dishes and not one was remotely disappointing. My favourite was the Market Plate. Service was friendly and professional. Would definitely go back!

Lovely atmosphere, friendly, genuine service, and fantastic food. Medium price, in fact, not as expensive as I predicted. The restaurant area is small and cosy, and I am glad I booked a table, even on a Thursday night. Will definitely come here again the next time I am in London.

Unfortunately not what expected. I am vegetarian so I was very excited to try this new restaurant with such an innovative concept. First of all the menu is really poor, 3 starters, 3 mains and few simple side dishes. Absolutely overpriced for what you find on the menu. One of the starters was actually slices of fresh tomato, cucumber and mozzarella for 7£. One of the starters was suppose to have eggplant but they ran out of it so they simply did not put it in the dish without letting us before ordering it. Not professional at all. In addition to this, the waiter was always pushing to order more (cocktail, sides, etc.) in a very annoying way, like we had to. I get that you just opened so probably you are still struggling with the finance but harassing the customers to order more is surely not the best way to start a business. Finally we ordered two starters, two mains and one side and none of them were actually something that I couldn't prepare myself at home (and I am not a chef). Hopefully it will get better with time but definitely many things need to be adjusted. It would also be great to find the 'zero waste' concept explained on the menu.

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Tap water is served on arrival and refilled when run out, no need to chase like in many other places. Enjoyable healthy food (I had the chickpea stew) and nice desserts, all beautifully presented. Service is very good altogether. Standard pricing.

Food was very good but not inspiring recipes. The head waitress was amazing, the other was dominating and treated us like we were kids. Overall we had a great time though. Lovely atmosphere and well located. Great concept. Could be a bit more daring with the food though it's still very young. Worth checking out.

Great starter, great main, OK desert. Little expensive. Also desperately need to train their staff on human nutrition, the amount of incorrect information floating around is very worrying!

Disappointing starters - incredible presentation with a tasty puree/salsa accompanying what was effectively huge chunks of unseasoned vegetables. Main courses were much more impressive, though chickpeas would have been improved with more cooking. Service was friendly and good. Would recommend for the novelty, but not for a return visit
