My food was luke warm as I had the roast the hottest park of my food was the cauliflower cheese .My husband's was hit as he had the steak.

Live Band was great but it was quite noisy and hard to talk.

We were particularly impressed with the observant and helpful staff. We had a three year old eith us, and a one year old in a high chair. The waitress found space for the pushchair. Diring the meal she saw that we were having trouble with the one year old grabbing things off the table, and lack of space. She asked if we would like an additional table to join ours so we had more room. The food was delicious too. The only thing lacking was smaller cutlery for children.

Wonderful buzzy atmosphere, excellent service with cheerful staff and was impressed that the owner made the effort to go around the tables introducing himself. We shared a starter and both had burgers which were very good and of course an obligatory sticky toffee pudding to finish - all delicious! Long may independents like this thrive in Tunbridge Wells!

Lovely atmosphere, lively with superb food and live music. Food was a tad slow coming but well worth the wait. Small niggle..our table located with one other seemed to lack the same cosy lighting as it was a bit on the harsher bright side for my liking and I’d have preferred for this to be in keeping with the rest of the restaurant which was lower lit and ambient with twinkling lights but this was only a minor thing and overall there’s a really great vibe especially for group dining or even just those that want to drink the bar. Recommend you Book in advance!

We love it here but sometimes you have to wait quite a while for your mains, if you’ve had a starter.. we waited almost half hour after finishing our starter…

As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the owner. The food again was very good. We would recommend the Monkfish and Sirloin, which were cooked to perfection. The service was very good.

Took my Mum here for her birthday. Staff were very attentive, the food came quickly and we all enjoyed our separate dishes. Great value for money and a nice relaxed atmosphere for a Wednesday evening. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Chris

Too t and loud on a Saturday lunch time (Maybe open a window for fresh air) But we are autistic so very sensitive to noise Service was quick

We were celebrating a friend’s special birthday. The waitstaff were amazing; a warm welcome, so accommodating allowing us to bring a birthday cake and balloons making the evening feel special. Thank you

Visited yesterday with family and a dog. Staff were fantastic, super efficient but more importantly very friendly. Food was excellent, altho I have to confess I had food envy when the nut roast wellington came up for one of our party. Not only did it look amazing apparently it tasted great too, Next time !!!
